Honeyfall was enraged when she heard a mare's voice telling her captor's to be gentle. At first she thought it must be Cherrycloud, but Honeyfall realized that it had to belong to a much younger steed. Not really caring about who the this other steed was, Honeyfall continued glaring at the ground.
Magicpetal went over to Emberblaze and nuzzled her brother before laying down to sleep. Emberblaze: He curled up next to her, but stayed awake to watch the stars.
“I noticed that you were watching Magicpetal and I as we went on our da—“ he caught himself. “—um, adventure this morning, and I wanted to ask why you were doing so.”
Moonstream flew up to fly beside the ones wh were carrying Honeyfall, being careful to stay out of the captured mare’s sight range. “Be gentle. She could be very useful if she stays intact. She’s rather valuable to Glacier Herd from what I’ve seen.”
Unaware of Honeyfall’s predicament, Horizongold had said goodbye to Magicpetal and trotted back to the valley clearing. He had seen Brightwing looking after him that morning and had wondered what the bay stallion was thinking. Now, Horizongold figured, was a good time to ask. The young stallion came up behind him. “Brightwing?”
She tried her best to fend off the Flame Herd steeds, but it was no contest, there was just to many of them, and soon she surrendered. Honeyfall's wings were grabbed by the two biggest steeds in the group, and she was hauled down into the enemy herd.
Honeyfall had decided to take a short cut over the middle of the former Desert Herd territory, and so far the risk had paid off. That was until she spotted a mass of pegasi on the horizon and realized that it had to be Flame Herd. Honeyfall had started to pump her wings harder, hoping to gain enough altitude so that she would be invisible form ground, but before she could, Honeyfall spotted a group of Flame Herd steeds flying towards her.
The bay mare knew that it would be impossible to fly high enough for her to escape the Flame Herd steeds, so she changed tactics. Honeyfall dove into the nearest cloud, and began ducking and weaving, dashing as much cloud coverage as possible. But it didn't loose the Flame Herd steeds, and as Honeyfall came out of one cloud, she ran straight into them.
The chestnut yearling followed her friend's gaze, and spotted a blueish brown shape moving pretty quickly through the sky. Gingerblaze could barley see it, but it was a well known fact that Moonstream had incredible eye sight. Without having a second thought, Gingerblaze called out for her mother, and Cherrycloud- who had just finished her meeting -came racing over. "Ma, look up there." said the chestnut yearling, using her wing to point at the thing Moonstream had spotted, "Moonstream said that's a Glacier Herd steed."
Cherrycloud gave her filly a curt nod and ordered a squad of Flame Herd pegasi after the supposed intruder.
Moonstream nodded. “Okay, then I should wait for her to finish. While I’m waiting I could fill you in if you’d like.”Just then, she heard the silent whoosh of wings flapping overhead. She looked up casually, and saw one of the Glacier Herd mares she’d observed back in the Glacier Herd territory. “Gingerblaze,” she whispered, “that mare is from Glacier Herd.”
As soon as Pearlsong left to rejoin her family for the night, she jumped in a pond to rinse out the juice. Thenshe immediately flew back to Flame Herd. She was back within twenty minutes thanks to the many hours of stamina training included in her spy training. She quickly found her best friend—the daughter of the lead mare— Gingerblaze. “Gingerblaze, where’s your mother? I’m ready to give my report. I’ll fill you in later too. Did I ever mention I love my job?”
(Yes, I'll make part 27 rn)
(I know I said this already, but please make part 27. My phone is being ridiculously laggy.)
Honeyfall:

Brightwing turned around to see Horizongold was the one that had said his name. “Yes? What is it?” He asked patiently.

Gingerblaze flicked her ears at her friend, relived that she was back. "Uh, I think I saw her talking with her captains." she answered.
