Last comment form part 23-
Breezebell stumbled backwards when Horizongold landed. "GAH! Jeez! Pegasi! STOP SCARING ME TO THE NEAR DEATH!!" She shouted in shock. "Oh my gosh calm down Horizongold. They're on a brake now. They're at the stream getting a drink," Breezebell explained.

(I just posted part 25)
“Oh,” Horizongold said, feeling strangely disappointed. “Um, yes, I want to talk more,” he continued. The next words came out in a rush. “Well, you know all that shiping stuff Breezebell was doing? And how out friends are getting into relationships? Well, for once I think Breezebell has the right idea. I’ve liked you since the day we met.” He lifted his head and looked straight at her for the first time in minutes.
( IT IS HERE!!! :D )
Goldenstream:
"YOUR SHIP NAME!!!!!!! TWIGSTRIKE AND BREEZEBELL!!!!! Man, I am so creative. TWIGBELLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!"
Breezebell snapped her head to Goldnestream. "Twig...what?! What in Anok is she talking about?!" she demanded.
Goldenstream:
She couldn't resist herself. "TWIGBELL!!! TWIGBELL!!! TWIGBELL!!!!! TWIGBELL!!!!!!" she cheered, but everyone else was either to busy to care or they were to far away to hear, so no one but Twigstrike, Breezebell and herself heard the chant
Breezebell twisted her ears. "Wiat.... Am I missing something here? How could I be in a ship," she chuckled. "Who would I be in a ship with?" she asked.
(I'm going to make part 25 right now)
Twigstrike:
"You said you weren't in a ship." he said, "I say you are."
( lol )
(YEP!!!!still here)
Magicpetal:
She stifled a loving sigh as Horizongold flipped his forelock out of his eyes. "Uh...no..." she said. "What are you doing?! That was your chance to tell him how you feel!!! You messed it up!! Tell him Magicpetal! Tell him!!" her emotional state of mind screamed at her. But, her logical stae of mind popped up and screamed right back, "Now is not the time. I love him, but we are on the verge of war. I can't admit my feelings to him...not now anyways.." "Yeah..no...t-that was it..." she said, dipping her head to get her own drink from the lake. "Anything else you wanna talk about?" she asked, swishing her tail
( That sucks )
(Ugh, my internet is acting weird)
(Riverbreeze? U still here?)
Horizongold dipped his head to drink from the pond, waiting for an answer.
Breezebell blushed even more when he did that. "WAIT. I GOT SOMETHING WRONG?!?! What did I get wrong? Please tell me! I hate not knowing things," she pleaded.
( OMG THIS IS HILARIOUS!!!!!!!! )
Goldenstream:
She saw the nuzzle, but let it slide. She sent a heavy smile to Breezebell and before she could respond she cantered off, nickering.
Twigstrike:
Twigstrike let out an amused nicker, "Sounds like you spend a lot of time on shipping your friends. But you did get one thing wrong." without saying another word, he leaned over and nuzzled Breezebell, but pulled away when Emberblaze walked passed, not wanting to make another seen.
(I’m literally laughing my head off right now. TWIGBELL!!)
Breezebell waved to her friends. Red walked bye and hugged her sister tightly before cantering after Brightwing, Goldenstream, and Emberblaze.
Goldenstream went back to the clearing with Emberblaze and her sire, but she realised at how excited Emberblaze was to see him. He figured that they would want some alone time to catch up and have father-son time. She passed Brrezebell and greeted her with a friendly nicker.
Emberblaze:
He stepped back after several minetes hugging his sire. "Let's go back to the herd. We have a lot to talk about." he said. The father-son pair trotted side by side back to the herd and Emberblaze passed by Breezebell and Twigstrike. "Hey Breezebell. Hey Twigstrike." he said, simply and continued on, to excited to stop and talk.Emberblaze did hear the comment Breezebell made about him and Red, but he didn't care.He had other things on his mind. He urned to tell Brightwing everything. How his training was going, how the herd was, what position he was put in. He wanted to tell his father everything.
Breezebell shook her head with a laugh. "No. I just know that they both have a crush on each other. It's quite hilarious actually. They met by Horizongold saving Magicpetal's life by catching her! Ooh and my sister and Emberblaze, I'm not quite sure how they met.....Only that they are somewhat a thing right now. OH and I can't forget Goldenstream and Silverflame! I'm the only without a ship. It is actually quite peaceful being the one without a ship with someone. I am the ultimate outcast when it comes to that stuff. I used to have a crush on Silverflame, but that died when I realized I could have SO much fun shipping Goldenflame," she babbled. She sudden;y stopped and blushed very much. 'Oops.....I did it again," she giggled shyly.
(AAGHH!!! HORIZONPETAL!!!!!)
( back )
Twigstrike:
"Magicpetal and Horizongold are a couple? That must make training interesting."
(k)
( brb )
Breezebell shrugged. "I have no idea. Probably not right now because Horizonpetal is working out the kinks...... in their relationship..." Breezebell shrugged. "But they're all really nice. We were a team in the relay race for determining the categories for the yearlings," she explained.
Twigstrike:
"Ah," said Twigstrike, "Then in that case, when can I meet them?"
A light blush touched her cheeks and she smiled sheepishly. "Umm.....Yes. Yes it would be," she mumbled.
Twigstrike:
"I'm honored, but just out of curiosity, would these be the same pegasi that were giving us a hard time earlier."
Breezebell nodded thoughtfully. "Well I certainly am not a loner," she stated. "You know what. You should join my little group of friends!" she squealed happily.
Twigstrike:
"I'm kinda a loner," he admitted, "And after my parents died I pretty much only wanted to be with Jaggedwing and Briarcloud. Meadowstorm and I are in the same battalion, so I see her quite a bit."
Breezebell thought for a moment. "So, did you have any other friends in Cave Herd? Accept Meadowstorm of course," she asked.
Twigstrike:
He smiled, "Yeah."
Breezebell felt a slight shiver go through her spine, but it wasn't enough to notice at his touch. "Oh. That makes more sense! The more friends the better," she nickered.
Twigstrike:
"Well, Cave Herd wasn't exactly the most adventurous of the herds." Said Twigstrike, "And anyways, that trip allowed me to meet you." he slightly extended his wing and let it brush Breezebell's side.
Breezebell let out a short laugh but then slapped her mouth shut with her wing. "Oops..... Out burst. I do that a lot..... But, seriously?! That's the only most interesting and exciting thing that's happened in your life?! Oh not to mention that story was also my most ebarrassing moment of my life," she added.
Twigstrike:
"Geeze," he said, "The most exciding thing I've ever done was volunteer to go with Jaggedwing on his trip up here."
Breezebell rolled her eyes. "Oh it was. Almost everybody in the herd was awake with the sound of me running around screaming, 'MY WINGS ARE ON FIRE!!!!! HEEEELLLLPPP!!!!!!!!!'" Breezebell sighed contentedly. "It was the most interesting thing of my life," Apart from you, she thought.
Twigstrike:
"That must have been an interesting experience." he said, trying not to laugh
Breezebell nickered. "That was an accident. It only burned the tips of my feathers. I had accidentally set fire to my wings trying to warm my bed of dead grass. Note: never try friction. It never works," she giggled.
Twigstrike:
He let out a laugh, "They were the best," said Twigstrike, "But what's this about you setting you wings on fire?"
Breezebell sighed deeply. "He was. I remember everything he ever said to me," she nickered. "'Breezebell, don't eat that,' 'Breezebell, don't set fire to your wings,'" Breezebell said in a deep, humorous voice. "And I bet your parents were great too,"
Twigstrike:
"That's to bad," said Twigstrike, "I bet your sire was great."
Breezebell smiled warmly. "The dela with my family..... Okay so I have my mother, Forestbeam, and my sister Redmoon. I call her Red for short. My father was Crimsonstorm. He died saving me, my sister, and my friends from a pack of hungry wolves. I jsut wish he could've survived. Then he could've have met you, and trust me, he would've likrd you a LOT," she nickered.
Twigstrike:
"No they can't." he agreed, "So what's the deal with your family?"
She moaned. "Ugh. But why? You know what. I guess somethings can't be answered. . . . . Oh well," she nickered.
Twigstrike:
He shrugged, "I don't know." he said, "I just like talking to you I guess."
( Am I the only one still here? )
( Bai to both of you XD )
Breezebell thought for a moment. "Why do you talk to me?" she asked out of curiousity. She had never known why he had first started talking to her.
“That’s good,” Horizongold said. They stood silently for a minute or two, then the young stallion asked, “Was there anything else?” He hoped that if there was, it was romantic. Then he berated himself for thinkibg that way. ‘Why would she like me? Oh yeah, I prevented her from falling to death. And I killed four or five pumas that were trying to kill her at the time. Ah right, I’m also extremely handsome.’ He resited the urge to nicker in amusement at the last thought, so instead he flipped his forelock out of his face.
(Gtg, might not be back tonight.)
(gotta eat)
Twigstrike:
Twigstrike realized that Breezebell was getting really frustrated with this conversation, and he was glad to change the subject, "Okay, umm..." he franticly looked around to find something, anything to talk about.
Breezebell glanced at him. She didn't say anything for a moment and then sighed. "Okay. Fine. WHATEVER. I am still a rebel though. I'll be breaking more rules, making more mistakes than you can even count," she said, trying to lighten the mood. "Could we talk about something else?" she mumbled, looking at the grass in front of her.
Magicpetal:
She nodded her head.. "I understand. I'm not angry. If I hadn't snuck off you wouldn't have had to do it in the first place. " she said, folding her wings
Twigstrike:
"I don't want you to fell like your being forced to kill," said Twigstrike, "I speak form experience that war is hard on a pegasus, both physically and mentally. You are being trained to spy, witch is especially hard because you are the one brining intelligence back for the army, and it can be a horrible feeling knowing that the info you give will most likely be used to plan battles. But this war may be the fastest way to find peace. I listened to what Cherrycloud had to say when she visited my grandsire, and she made it very clear that her only plans for after the war, everything will go back to our divided herds. You have lived in Glacier Herd your whole life, and have never known what it's like to live in one of the smaller herds, I can tell you it's awful."
( XD Twigstrike would make a GREAT mentor )
Breezebell's ears twisted lightly at his words. "But I didn't sign up for a war where we're killing each other. I don't think that's really 'uniting' Anok but fine. Fine fine fine. I'll just. . . . . kill and betray innocent steeds if that's what everybody wants," she added just the nit of sourness to her tone. "But if you look from their view, they might actually be the good guys and we could be the bad. Or we could be the good and they could be the bad. Or we could be both and they could both," she sighed heavily. "But, like I said, I'll betray steeds and possibly kill if that's what everybody thinks is best. . . .," Breezebell finished, looking down, her eyes dulling for the first time in a long time.
(YAY)
( back )
(Very well said, Twigsrike!)
Magicpetal:
She nodded her head.. "I understand. I'm not angry. If I hadn't snuck off you wouldn't have had to do it in the first place. " she said, folding her wings
(Even though I'm writing it, it just feels like Twigstrike is dictating his own words and actions)
(YES thank you Twigstrike)
(bye)
Twigstrike:
"I shared it because I think you needed to hear it." said Twigstrike, "I want you to know, that right now you may be just wanting to not have pressure placed on you, but we are preparing for war. And that's noting to take lightly. You said you could just run away with your sister and mother, but you'll be leaving your friends behind. I guess... my point is that freedom comes with a cost."
( brb gotta eat )
“Okay,” Horizongold said. He waited for her to start talking, but realized she was doing the same thing. “Um, I’ll start by saying that I had to do it. As flight commander, I can’t play favorites. But I’ll also admit that maybe I came on too strong. I am friends with you—“ he didn’t want to admit his true feelings just yet “— but I am also an instructor. Instructors give instructions, and the students are supposed to follow them. Of course, vbeing an instructor includes disciplene. Since we are friends outside of army training, it was hard for me to do that earlier.” HE didn’t mention that it was hard because he had a crush on her. “ You have no idea how hard it is to be friendly toward someone when also being a good and fair commander.”
Breezebell froze as he told the story, her mind reeling. Then something hit her. It was something begging her, pleading her to comfort Twigstrike. "That story was very........saddening. I don't think I've ever felt this sad before accept...." she trailed off. "Nevermind. Just, answer this question and I won't go off on my own," she continued, still staring off into space. She turned her gaze up to look at him. "Why would you ever share with me, the most annoying thing in Anok, your most personal and probably the most painful life-story? I just don't get it. But I do understand what you mean," She mumbled.
(WOW)
Twigstrike:
"When I was a foal, all I wanted to do was be free." said Twigstrike, "I could never sit still, and I all ways wanted to be moving. Well, when it came time for me to start flight school, I was just as excided as the other yearlings, that was, until I met the instructor. He was this big stallion, trough as I'll get out, and wouldn't stand for any of my antics. One day, he was teaching us how to keep a straight course, even in the strongest gust of wind. He wanted us to spend all day practicing his tricks, but about half way through I got board, and decided to go practice a few other maneuvers on my own. My instructor called me back, and chewed me out about going off on my own, after that he determined that I was to be grounded as punishment. I was furious, and I remember telling my parents that I thought my instructor was trying to take away my freedom of flight. Well about a day into my grounding, I decided that I had, had enough of my instructor, and so I chose ignore him and I flew off on my own. What I didn't know was that there was a storm about to hit Anok, and I went straight into it. Because I had not wanted listen to my instructor, I was unable to keep flying, and was forced to land. Mean wile, my parents noticed I was missing, and set out imminently to find me. When they finally spotted me, it was just in the nick of time because I was about to become the lunch of a pack of wolves. My parents were able to fight them off, but the wolves had weakened them, and on the flight back to the herd...." Twigstrike's voice trailed off, this memory was just to painful and it took a moment to get over him emotions, "My parents were unable to make it back."
Magicpetal:
She shuffled from hoof to hoof. "Y-yes...I need to talk to you..."
Emberblaze:
He turned his attention to his father's voice. "Father!!!! You're back!!!!" and he rushed forward, bounding like a colt, toward his father. "I've missed you....." he said, pushing his muzzle into his sire's mane.
Goldenstream:
She gasped, her eyes wide at the sight of him. She ran forward and the siblings hugged their father tightly. Goldenstream squeezed him hard, just to make sure he was real.
Redmoon -who was with Goldenstream and Emberblaze- turned her head and smiled. She was glad that Emberblaze would be able to see his father. She just wished she could have the same experience, but she would never see her father again. Not in a long time. Maybe not forever.
Brightwing:
He had listened intently, letting his filly cry on him. At the part when she mentioned she had feelings for Horizongold, his eyes widened, but he forced them back to normal. Then when Magicpetal flew off to talk it out with Horizongold, he immediately went to find his other two foals. He saw them quickly as he came out off the forest, and decided to talk with Goldenstream about this matter. But he just had to see his only colt first. ”Hey guys,” he said, casually strolling over.
“Oh, hello. I need to talk. apparently so do you, since I doubt you would try and find me if you didn’t.” Horizongold stretched his neck upright from grazing, ready for the conversation.
Meadowstorm had followed Magicpetal back but sensed that she wouldn’t be welcome in the conversation, so she landed in the valley where the rest of Cave Herd was.
( YAY. My thing keeps lagging where I can't see your guy's comments lol )
Breezebell twisted her ears and her eyes opened wide. "Alright. I'm listening," She said. She was actually quite surprised that he would share such a personal story to her when he had just met her.
(Back)
( AGH HERE PUTER LAGGING!!!!! )
Magicpetal kicked off without another word. She blasted into the sky, pumping her wings. She soared over the forest and lake until she reached the treeline. She hovered in mid-air and scanned the valley for the familiar color of Horizongold's wings. She quickly spotted him grazing and she flapped down to him. She landed a short distance away from him and glanced up. "Uhh.....hi...." she said, trying to figure out how to start the conversation
(pls someone be here!!!)
(HERERE!!!! HERE!!!!)
( I have no idea )
(Are River and/or Dragon here?)
(Nvm.
( Uhh.......Not following )
( here )
(This is weird to say, but I am so pleased that I had Horizongold chew them out for that. So much more writing material.)
Horizongold was grazing by the apple orchard pond as the sun sank lower in the sky. His feelings were more or less restored, and he was determined to clear things up with Magicpetal. At the moment, though, he didn’t know where she was. He figured he could wait until she came back to find her and try to talk with her. He munched on more grass and waited.
Meadowstorm nodded, recognizing the determination in Magicpetal’s face. “Good idea.”
Magicpetal:
"Well....I-I....I disobeyed him....I mean...I don't think he's mad anymore...but I'm more ashamed that I was stupid enough to wander off like that before the break started...." she said, wiping the last of the tears away and taking a deep breath. "Okay, Magicpetal, you foolish yearling. Horizongold was right to discipline you like that...You know Horizongold, he would never mean to hurt you, He was just disciplining you, like he should do...so, you should go back to the valley and clear things out with him..." her mind yelled at her. Her more emotional side yelled back, "Are you kidding?! I could never face Horizongold again! Not after that stupid mistake!" her logical side scoffed and yelled back, "Well, since he's your crush, it's gonna be hard not to face him." the logical side said.
Magicpetal stood up, done with argueing herself. "I'm...I'm going back to the valley....." she said aloud, making up her mind
“Sounds like a great guy,” Meadowstorm commented. “But why is he angry at or with you?”
Horizongold paced restlessly for a long time, thinking. No, a better word would be arguing. With himself. ‘Great job, Horizongold, you idiot. Sure, they needed discipline, but seriously? Magicpetal’s probably still crying.’ Indeed, Horizongold had heard wingbeats and muffled sobs as he had turned away. ‘So what?’ the other side of his brain fired back. ‘The two of them disobeyed you and you disciplined them. Pretty well, in fact, because you can be certain that Magicpetal will never do it again. So suck up mushy-gushyness and focus on facts. They disobeyed you. That’s all that matters.’ Horizongold wanted to side with his fight commander half, but then his emotional side fired back with, ‘But it’s MAGICPETAL!!’ Horizongold shook himself violently and tried to get rid of the thoughts, but he couldn’t.
Oceangold noticed her son’s pacing and walked over. “What’s up? I saw you talking with Magicpetal. That usually makes you happy. And ever since you talked with her just then, you’ve been pacing and upset.”
Horizongold faced his mother and suddenly felt much younger than he was. “I was disciplining her for leaving before the break started,” he said plainly. There was no need to explain further since his mother recognized the emotional turmoil that must create. “Aha,” she replied. “Well, I have faith that you two can work over this,” she added. The two walked in companionable silence for a while longer.
Magicpetal:
She turned to face Meadowstorm. She swallowed her tears. "Only the most handsome stallion in all of Glacier herd! It's kinda a long story on how we met but a summary is he saved my life from a crosscurrant and several puma attacks. We became best friends ,and ever since he saved me from the deathly fall, I've had feelings for him...sooo...Yeah..." she said, calming down
Breezebell twisted her ears and her eyes opened wide. "Alright. I'm listening," She said. She was actually quite surprised that he would share such a personal story to her when he had just met her.
(Gtg, I'll be back later)
Twigstrike:
"That's not what I wanted to ask," said Twigstrike, "Actually, I didn't want to ask you anything. But I did want to tell you that, wile I see why you were mad at, Horizongold was it, that I have to agree with him, and I wanted to tell you why." Twigstrike took a deep breath, he had never told this story to anyone before because it brought back feelings of regret and pain. "I told you that my parents were both dead, right? Well now I'm going to tell you how they died."
(back, but not for long)
(sry!!!!!)
