Anyone notice that Herd Chat has over 1,000 posts in it!?!?!?
Anyways, here's the last comment from part 15:
Redmoon gaped at him and growled. Instead, she went after Magicpetal and tagged her on the flank. "You're it!" She said before galloping away.

(I'm going to make part 16)
Silverflame:
When Breezebell returned to the team, Silverflame was still a little miffed at the way she was acting. He got not wanting to do things without his twin, but he thought Breezebell was acting a little ridiculous, after all it wasn't like she and Redmoon weren't going to be able to do be together anymore. This was only a skills evaluation, to see how you reacted and adapt to things you weren't used to. Redmoon was only being removed to prevent her from hurting herself worse, Breezebell was just turning a relatively simple thing into something overly complex.
Silverflame shook his head, Breezebell attitude was the least of his worries at the moment, he needed to be focusing on this race. "Okay," he said, "So if Breezebell's going second, who should go first?"
Breezebell glared at Mistcloud and didn't move from beside her sister. Redmoon nudged her and Breezebell shook her head. Redmoon nudged her harder and Breezebell looked at her for a long time. She let out her breath and crawled back over to her team and glared at her sister for a long time. Redmoon's heart broke at pushing her sister away and she looked at the ground to the side.
Silverflame:
"Come on, Breezebell. Please?" he pleaded
Horizongold, with a supreme effort, managed to keep his temper in check. He tried to smile at Breezebell but didn’t know if it looked like a smile. “Mistcloud is right,” he said. “And if you want, Breezebell, put your yourself second in the group order. Then when your turn is done, you can come back to be with Redmoon. IS that fair?”
Mistcloud:
Mistcloud glanced at Whiteshadow, who shook her head. "I'm sorry Breezebell," said Mistcloud, "Redmoon will have to sit out this last round, but she will still have a chance to join the Army early."
Breezebell perked her ears. "So Redmoon can come back on the team?!" She said, excitement rising. Redmoon glanced at Mistcloud and then glance at Breezebell.
Mistcloud:
Mistcloud landed in the clearing, just in time to hear Breezebell's outburst, "Breezebell." said council mare after the filly had finished, "Redmoon isn't eliminated from this contest. The reason we were pulled the yearlings out of the course was not to disqualify them, but to make sure none of you hurt yourselves to badly. I admire your loyalty to your sister, Breezebell, but you need to participate in this evaluation."
Breezebell glared at him. "It's eaither we are both on the team, or none of us two are," She said. "I won't leave my sister out. In fact, I think she join the army with her feircness and the fact that she made it through most of the obstacles after she got hurt. She has been fighting hard and she has kept going. That is what should be worthy of a someone in the army. Determination<" She shouted. Redmoon glanced a thank you at Breezebell.
Silverflame:
It took him a few minuets to realize that Breezebell was wanting to not participate. "But, Breezebell." said Silverflame, "We need you."
Redmoon took her leg away before the mare could do anything and avoided her eyes. "Leave me alone. I'm FINE," She said defiantly. She wouldn't admit to weakness because she was still in pain. Not from the cut, but from her fathers death. She believed she had to stay strong to make him proud of her. She didn't want him to die in vein. Breezebell glanced at her sister and raised her wing to Horziongold. "If my sister is not going to be on the team, than I'm not eaither," She said, her ears pinned and she walked over to Redmoon and stood beside her. Redmoon glanced at her angrily. "What are you doing?!" She grunted. "Being loyal to my family. I won't do anything without you," She said.
( back )
Whiteshadow:
Whiteshadow was helping Cloudroot treat the yearlings that had managed to hurt themselves. When Redmoon begrudgingly walked over, the gray mare started to look over her leg wound, blood was still oozing out of the cut. "Nothing appears to be broken." commented Whiteshadow, "But it's a pretty deep cut."
The gray mare proceeded to make sure the cut was cleaned out, and smear a herb past on it. "Almost done." said Whiteshadow, then she put a layer of moss over the paste, and finished by wrapping Redmoon's leg with a vine to keep everything together. "All done." she announced.
Silverflame:
The yearling colt glanced around the clearing, and saw that no one else had raised their wings.
Horizongold listened to the question. He hadn’t thought of this. “Good question,” He said, nodding to Silverflame. “Yes, the groups with eleven members will have the first runner also be the twelfth. Any other questions?”
Silverflame:
Silverflame raised his wing, "I have a question," he said, "Some of the teams have less members, will some other member of the teams have to go multiple times."
(Do you want us to pause the RP for you?)
(Oh okay. I like the new profile pic btw)
(Hi guys. It’s me, River. I created a new account for my phone. FYI, I will be out of town form today to Sat. But. I have this account, so I will comment when I can
(You seem to like the term Eep lol)
Horizongold waited for Redmoon to get to Cloudroot, then raised a wing for the others to be quiet. When the students had settled down, he continued. “This is the final obstacle,” he began. “It is a relay race. One at a time, the members of your groups will run or fly to that tree, circle it once, then run or fly back. Then that steed must tag the wing of the next pegasus in their group. That pegasus must continue the sequence, doing the same thing. The first group to have all their members finished wins. No prize, other than apples for when we’re done. So get in your racing order in the groups. Any questions?”
Silverflame:
He shot Redmoon an apologetic look, that turned his attention back on Horizongold.
(eep)
Emberblaze looked at Redmoon, sad and sorrowful. He felt bad for her that she couldn't continue, but he figured it was for the best because she was injured and he didn't want her to get more injured.
Horizongold watched them calmly, waiting for the other groups to arrive. It took a while, but eventually all of the flight school students were standing in front of him in their groups, awaiting instructions. His gaze swept over the seven groups of twelve, looking for injuries since he knew that this was the hardest one yet. He discreetly pointed to the palomino yearling, a light dapple gray filly, and two bay roans, all from different groups, and gestured for them to come toward him. “My apologies, but you four are all injured,” Horizongold said quietly when they came up to him. “Go visit Cloudroot over there.” He pointed with a wing at the pinto medicine mare, who had flown into the small field after him. The four injured trainees slowly walked over to Cloudroot, dejected. Cloudroot nodded to Horizongold, satisfied that he had seen all the injured students. Or so the mare thought until she got a glimpse of Redmoon’s leg. “Redmoon,” The medicine mare said, “Come here. That’s an order.”
Stromglade snorted. "If you listened you would know." he snapped. Emberblaze whirled around to face the stallion. "Alright, hot-shot. What are we doing then? Why don't you tell me?" he asked, knowing that Stormglade didn't know either.
Stromglade's eyes went wide. "I would tell you, but I'll let Horizongold do it, just because he's the leader." he said.
Emberblaze smirked and turned back toward Horizongold.Magicpetal moaned slightly at the sight of Stormglade, but realised her promise and shook him off and looked back forward.
(Awwwh! ok! bye)
Emberblaze craned his neck, feeling accomplished that he didn't stumble. He heard Horizongold's voice and flicked his ears toward him. Then, he heard Junipersky next to him and he looked at her confused. "You're not in my group. What's going on?" he asked
( gtg )
Redmoon glared at the tree and glanced at Junipersky, confused. "you're not in our group..." She said. "Oh well here I go!" SHe said flexing her wings. She reared up and pushed off with her back legs, causing her injured one to stumble. She flew/jumped over the tree but when she landed, she hit hard because of the stumble when started and she rolled a few rolls and stumbled up and almost fell. "AGH! Not as easy as it looks!" She said. Breezebell shrugged and jumped-flew it with grace but landed hard and stumbled forward btu caught herself.
(I was thinking that its a relay race, the first runner/flier goes out to the tree and back, tagging the next member of their group. First group to have all twelve done wins. K?)
Junipersky had been assigned to join Stormglade’s group and had left right after Silverflame’s and Magicpetal’s group. Their group performed well, with only two members stumbling on the obstacles, the rings. They then went through the lake, several of the members complaining about its temperature. Now, they caught up with them. ”What do we do now?” Junipersky asked Emberblaze, who was closest to her. At that moment, Horizongold landed in front of them. ”Wait for the others here,” he said. ”I’ll tell you what we’re doing then.”
Emberblaze galloped forward followed by his tow sisters. As they neared the tree, two battle mare's were flying over the tree. And the tree didn't look so small, but it was big enough to jump over. "I Think we have to jump over the tree because the battle mare's are flying!" -he called over the wind. But, as they got closer to the tree, Emberblaze slowed down a little. The tree was Horizongold's height, which was pretty tall. There was another tree about a mile after the first one that looked as tall as a full grown stallion.
One of the battle mare's stepped forward. 'In order for you to move onto the next obstacle, you must jump over this tree. You may use your wings, but only to help you balance and help you to make it over the tree."
Emberblaze galloped forward. He opened his wings and reared on his hind legs. He raised his front legs up and he pushed off with his hind legs, sending him flying forward. He flapped his wings and flew/jumped over the tree. On the other side, he landed and skidded to a halt on the other side.
( brb )
Redmoon stopped them. "It's in the distance. It might not be as small as it looks," She said cautiously and then let them go and she followed after quietly.
Emberblaze still didn't like how Redmoon was walking. If she was limping, he thought she should be taken off the course, but he shook it off, and pointed toward a small far off tree. "It looks so small that you could jump over it." he told the group as the rest of the group was wading onto shore.
Redmoon limped over to them. 'You'll live," She said holding up her injured leg which was clean from the water btu still looked very unpleasant. Breezebell trotted over and smiled. "I like water," She said. Redmoon nickered at her sister and limped over to the grass and looked around for the next obstacle.
(Cool!!!!)
Emberblaze nodded and dove under the water. He snorted under the water at the cold and swam toward land. Once his hooves could once again touch the sand, he brought his head back above the water and waded onto shore, his wings dripping wet and his hide ice cold.
Magicpetal dove under and shrieked at the cold. She paddled her frozen legs and flapped her wings. She slowly made her way to the shore. Once her hooves touched the sand again, she started to shiver and the cold water dripped down her hide and forelock. She was gapsing for breath and her legs were trmbling harder than her body and wings were.
Emberblaze waded back into the water and helped his sister toward land. Once she was on shore, she collapsed in the hot sand and rolled, scratching her aching wings.
Goldenstream waded onto the shore shortly after Magicpetal and shook. "That was unpleasant." she said, frowning and looking unamused.
( K XD SHE LOOKS AWESOME! )
( Hmmm, nice! BTW I commented on ROTR rp )
(Im going to make a new OC)

Redmoon sighed relief and looked back at the others. "What you need to do is dive under the water and flex your wings to their widest!" She shouted halfway across the lake. "just pretend your a Matarae and if you need to, jump out of the water and right back in like a dolphin!" She shouted and sat down on the warm sand.
( lol typos )
(*over his* not ove rhis)
Horizongold rolled his eyes. ”Fine,” he said finally. ”But I will be informing Mistcloud and Shadowfire. And you may need to visit Cloudroot later. But I won’t force you.” With that, he flew away, calling ove rhis shoulder, ”Now get moving! It will help the cold.”
Redmoon glanced at them. "I'm not leaving no matter what you say," She growled and then jumped forward and dived under the water. She swam like lightning and soon surfaced on the other side and she was dripping with ice cold water. 'Woo.... That was cold..." SHe said, climbing the shore and shaking out her mane and tail.
(Awwh! ok. sry that was a little long)
(ugh, can't RP till later)
The battle mare looked at Horizongold, then turned her head back toward the team who was swiming toward them. Emberblaze motioned for the team to keep following. He waded further into the water and he could feel his legs starting to get numb.
He was worried about Magicpetal, who's legs could start to freeze up in the cold water, so he stayed close to his shivering sister. They eventually made it to where Redmoon and the battle mare were and most of the team was shaking. Emberblaze's teeth were clattering and his body was numb. He looked over at Magicpetal. Her coat was pale, her eyes were hard as stone and it looked like her legs were starting to freeze because she was flapping her wings just to keep her head above the water. He turned back forward and said to Horizongold, Redmoon, and the battle mare. "Whatever you decide, do it quick. We should keep moving." he said, through his clattering teeth.
Emberblaze stretched one of his wing's to Magicpetal, hoping she would grab onto it. Magicpetal saw his wing and swam toward it. She wrapped her wings around her brother's and rested above the water because he was supporting her weight. He was almost pulled down by her extra weight, but he paddled his legs harder and flexed his wing muscles, making them float above the water, keeping the resting Magicpetal above the water as well. "Make a decicion. We can't stay in here forever." he said, meaning the group as a whole
Redmoon glared at her and glanced at Breezebell who shrugged her shoulder and had wide eyes. Redmoon glared back at them. "I'm fine. I can move jsut fine. It's a tiny cut that won't bother anything," She said confidently. "just let me go on," She glared hard.
The battle mare flew forward. She was becoming annoyed. "Redmmon, right? Your team is only as strong as it's weakest player. Right now, your the weakest player because you are injured. Bleive me, I'm a battle mare so I know the feeling of denying when you are hurt, but if that get's infected you are going to stay n the medicine mare den for a long time, and, I don't think you want that."
“Redmoon!” Horizongold whinnied sharply. He flew over her head and followed her. “Come. With. Me. NOW.” Then he motined a wing to the other eleven. “Get moving,” The young stallion said curtly.
Redmoon pinned her ears. "Stop worrying about me and get moving!" She said stepping around Horizongold and swimming into the frigid waters. She narrowed her eyes at the cold tempertures but swam fast and was hlaf way across the lake when she looked back. "You guys coming?" She asked. Breezebell nickered at her sister and rolled her eyes. "That's Redmoon for ya'. Can't stand being hurt so she denies it" She said, shaking her head and swimming into the water.
Silverflame:
Horizongold landed with a thud, "Redmoon, you have to go with him." Silverflame pleaded, "I you continue on you'll most likely hurt yourself worse."
(Nightmist?! U here?!)
Horizongold had been briefed by Shadowfire to watch the groups on the obstacle course from above and to watch for injuries. He now narrowed his eyes as he focused on Redmoon. It was a relatively minor injury, but he had been taught that orders were orders. As the group paused in front of the lake, he swooped and landed in front of her. “Let’s go, Redmoon,” he ordered. He saw her face, and added, “You’re leg is injured. I was told to escort any injured yearlings, and you fit that category. Now come on.”
Emberblaze turned his head to look at the sisters. "If you guys are injured, you shouldn't continue. You might hurt yourself even more." he said, looking at Redmoon's leg, concerned
The battle mare stepped forward, ready to take them back to the other yearlings, if they wanted to go.
(ya. something like that)
(Or pinecones, idk what they are)
(Woah... okay so what were these missiles that hit them? I assume they are rocks thrown by snipers?)
Emberblaze turned his head to look at the sisters. "If you guys are injured, you shouldn't continue. You might hurt yourself even more." he said, looking at Redmoon's leg, concerned
Silverflame:
"Hold up." said Silverflame, "Mistcloud said that if one of our teammates was injured they would be pulled from the course." he flicked his ears at Redmoon and Breezebell "If those two aren't injured, I don't know what is."
(I hate time zones)
Emberblaze saw that he got a nod from pretty much everyone, so he pinned his wings and dove back down toward land, keeping on eye on his team and Redmoon, whom he noticed had a large cut on her hind leg. He headed toward the next obstacle which was a large lake. "Why would there be a lake as an obsatcle?" he asked himself. But, he figured he would find out. He landed on the shore of the lake and looked confusedly at a watching, nearby battle mare. "What do we do?" he asked her, making sure all his teammates were behind him. The battle mare tossed her head. "You must swim. I can't tell you anything more, you must figure it out for yourself." she said, motioning toward the water. Emberblaze cautiosly walked into the water and he yelped at the frigid temperatures. His teeth started clattering and he started shivering. "We have to swim across this frigid waters to the other side." he said, realising the challenge
Emberblaze saw the the sisters were both injured. "Let's take a break for a few seconds." he said, hovering. He looked at him teammates. All were tired and had some bruises. Magicpetal who was breathing hard nodded and so did Goldenstream.
After about 5 mins, Emberblaze asked. "So, we ready to move on?" he said, renewed energy fueling his wings and legs
( Hello? )
Redmoon: Sweat dripped down her hide and she dodged every bullet. She missed one and it hit her injured leg and cause her to spiral out of control. She flew open her wings and shot upward. A tear came down her cheek at the pain but she managed to stay with the group. Breezebell had been hit a couple times but she was with the group. "Everyone alright?" She asked. She glanced at her sister who shook her head but mouthed words to her sister to stay quiet about her injury. Breezebell nodded again and kept glancing at Redmoon.
After everyone cleared through the 3 hoops, Emberblaze felt that something wizzed past him, but he didn't know what it was. It smacked him on the flank and he whirled around, but no one was there. He looked at Silverflame confused. At Silverflame's words, he tried to move and dodge the attacks, but the attackers looked like they anticipated Emberblaze's every move.
Magicpetal flet them to. One of the mysterious attackers shot by her and hit her on the wing as it passed, she shrieked and lost balance and she fell toward land. Goldenstream dived down to her sister and called out to her sister. "Flap your wings! Push down on the wind!" she called. Magicpetal pumped her wings and the wind caught her feathers easily and she regained her balance and flew back up to her colleges. "Don't let them hit you on the wing." she shouted over the sound of wizzes.
They near the next obstacle which was dangling from a high pine tree. It was a circular branch that was secured to the tree by a vine. "We'll have to fly up to this one!" he called to the yearlings. He opened his wings and lifted off. The circular hoop-branch was swaying slightly in the breeze as the got nearer toward it. He flew up to the first hoop and soared through it. His legs almost got entagled with the hoop, but he freed himself quickly. He waited untill almost everyone was through the hoop, then he continued on to the second hoop. "Make sure your legs are close to your body so they don't get entangled!" he called behind him to the yearlings as he flew toward the second hoop. He pulled his legs closer to his body and soared pretty easily through the second hoop.
Redmoon stared at the log, jumped it, but her back leg hit down on it hard when she landed and she fell forward and opened her wings and picked up the leg. "Yeah we're all good..." She said glancing at the cut her leg. Breezebell jumped with grace and glanced at Redmoon's leg and then at Redmoon. Redmoon gave a slight shake of her head and Breezebell nodded and galloped forward. Redmoon galloped forward trying to control her limp.
(hello?)
Emberblaze trusted his friend and angled his wings upward and shot up to the cloud layer. Magicpetal, who was geting pelted with the smacks along with Goldenstream weren't far behind him.
Silverflame:
More and more objects whizzed by Silverflame, "Go up!" he yelled, realizing that wile remaining in the air made them prime targets, land would only make them more so. Leaving the yearlings only chance at escape was to go up, and hopefully out of the range of their attackers.
Silverflame pumped his wings hard, and it didn't take long for him to get above the tree line. Then he glanced back, hoping to see the other following him.
Emberblaze: he felt that something wizzed past him, but he didn't know what it was. It smacked him on the flank and he whirled around, but no one was there. He looked at Silverflame confused. Silverflame:
The bay colt stopped and hovered in front of the first hoop, making sure that everyone was through, then he followed, almost catching his own hooves of the edge of the ring. When he had gotten through, he followed the others through the remaining hoops, and all 12 yearling made it safely to the other side of the obstacle. "That still seemed to easy." commented Silverflame, as he pumped his wings and glided about a winglength in front of the group.
Smack! Something whizzed out of now where and hit Silverflame on the head. Seconds later another hit him in the shoulder. "Everybody! Move!" he shouted
Emberblaze flew up to the first hoop and soared through it. Silverflame:
Silverflame noticed that there were three more hoops behind the first one, this was kinda tricky.
Emberblaze: "It'll get harder." he said as they near the next obstacle which was dangling from a high pine tree. It was a circular branch that was secured to the tree by a vine. "We'll have to fly up to this one!" he called to the yearlings. He opened his wings and lifted off. The circular hoop-branch was swaying slightly in the breeze as the got nearer toward it.
Silverflame:
"That was a little easy, don't you think?" called Silverflame, as they raced passed the watching steeds.
Magicpetal jumped over the same log. She opened her wings and flew over it and she landed with a lighter thud. She checked on Goldenstream, who jumped over the log with a slight stagger, but otherwise it looked very graceful. She looked at Redmoon, Breezebell, and Shadowstar jump over the log. She nodded to Emberblaze to say. "We are all good! Keep going." Emberblaze turned back forward and the pack of 12 yearlings wizzed past the adults watching.
(Bye)
Silverflame:
Emberblaze was the first of the group to reach the obstacle, and he soared over it with on mighty leap. Silverflame was the second to reach the tree, he flapped his wings, and glided over the log, and landed gracefully a winglength or two in front of Emberblaze.
(awwwwh! ok bye!)
Emberblaze smiled. "Of course!" but as always, he kept one eye on Magicpetal, who was galloping behind Emberblaze. He came upon the first obsatcle, which was a fallen log jump and he picked up his front hooves and kicked off with his back hooves and lurched forward, soaring over the jump. He landed with a heavy thud. He craned his neck to look behind him. "Everyone okay?!" he called over the wind.
( gtg )
Silverflame:
As soon as his dam gave the word, he and his friends dashed into the course. It was a pretty complex looking obstacle course. "Okay, is everyone ready?" he called as the group approached the first obstacle.
Redmoon gulped and surged forward with the rest of them. She took the lead of them and Breezebell stayed in the middle.
Mistcloud:
Mistcloud watched as the group with her sons were led up to the place where the groups would be briefed, and then led off to course. They were halted in front of council mare, and Mistcloud began delivering her briefing.
"As previously stated, this course will test your abilities leadership, agility, and teamwork." said Mistcloud, "It will be up to you 12 to look after each other, and get you team through this course. If one of your teammates is injured before he or she has finished, they will be removed. Good luck to all of you." Mistcloud paused, then said, "You may now begin."
And with that the council mare watched as the group of yearling dashed into the woods.
Redmoon looked over at the course and then her eyes anded on her fathers gravestone. She sighed and looked away and back at the course. "interesting..." She said peering at it.
Emberblaze: "Aggh! This is so cool!" he said, his eyes casting out on the course ahead of him and he opened his wings and pawed the ground.
Redmoon laughed at Emberblaze. "It seems you and my sister are perfectly in sync," She said glancing at Breezebell who glared at who. "I like courses...... That's alll," She said, continuing to hop around.
Magicpetal: "Hello." she said, nickering at her brother's and Breezebell's excitement.
Emberblaze: "Hey!" he said, prancing again.
Goldenstream: "Hi!" she said, rolling her eyes at her bro
Redmoon trotted gracefully up and perked her ears. Breezebell hopped into place and tiptoed on her hooves. "Hi," Redmoon whispered to Emberblaze, Magicpetal, and Goldenstream. Breezebell hopped back and forth and Redmoon rolled her eyes.
Emberblaze pranced in place. He was called along with the others and he trotted forward, followed by Magicpetal and Goldenstream, who also wasn't to pleased about joining the army. She'd much rather be a medicine mare, but Goldenstream shook those thoughts out of her mind and trotted faster. Emberblaze stopped in front of Mistcloud and continued to prance with excitment.
Goldenstream stood next to her brother. "Calm down. You'll waist all of your energy before you even start!" she nickered. Emberblaze snorted. "Never! I've got to much energy. I'm to excited." he said, standing still, but his muscles started to twitch.
Silverflame:
Silverflame waited impatiently next to his friends, then finally, his group was called up.
(It's a picture I drew of Mistcloud: http://www.theguardianherd.com/messageboard/fan-art/mistcloud-1 )
(Okay this makes more sense than I expected. Btw, Dragon, what’s your new profile?)
Starsummer trotted after her mate, remembering he wanted her to go with him, but she stopped short once she saw him with the yearlng filly, Redmoon. She folded her wings and stayed quiet, not wanting to intrude.
Emberblaze smiled brightly as he was picked. Magicpetal frowned, but figured she should try her best. Emberblaze saw her worry and he dipped his head to his sis. 'Hey...don't worry. You'll do great! Have fun." he said, smiling.
Silverflame:
As the yearling colt watched as more and more groups were led to the course, excitement was growing in his stomach.
