It finally snowed and stayed on the ground last night!! We got about five inches. I know that probably isn't impressive for Alaska, but I love any amount of snow!! Here are some pictures:

I keep missing posts!!! Aahh!! Most of the time we just get really, really cold weather, but no snow. This morning it felt like 3 degrees outside and that doesn't even include the wind chill!! For a while the forecast had said that it might snow on Christmas Eve, but all we got were a few flurries.
lol yeah
Nope
yeah, I know that Maine doesn't compare well to Alaska
5 degrees positive?
this is the temperature scale like Dragon did
Warm: 30 or more
chilly: 29 to 18
cold: 17 to 10
really cold: 9 to 5

gtg
I think it will be melting more though
Lucky
Nice!!!
a bit of ours melted but it mostly just made the snow wet, so I can make a snowman tomorrow if it doesn't keep melting
Aww man! It all melted today 🤧
It rained here a few days ago, but since it's been so warm we don't have much ice
If it rained tonight, where i live would have snow. BUT IT DIDN"T RAIN!!!!!!! BOO!
oh my gosh lol
Warm = 5 to 40
Kinda Cold = -5 to 4
Cold = -20 to -4
Really Cold = -21 to -40
Remind-me-why-I-live-here Cold = anything below -40
Cold here in 10 degrees F, warm is 30 degrees F.
What temperature do you think of as really cold? In Maine we consider "kind of cold" as about 15 degrees Fahrenheit. (negative 9.4444 degrees Celsius)
We still got a whole bunch of snow, but it hasn't been that cold
Its taller than you see in the picture
Oh ya, that tree in my picture had only a foot of it showing.
15 FEET OF SNOW??!!!!
Yep! This is strange though, because last year it was like this too, until Christmas Eve night and Christmas Day. Blizzards, and 15 feet of snow (literally) so i think we wont be dry long.
lol it looks like spring there already!
Good ol’ semi-warm, dry, brown ND.
Cool!!! I get this.
I forgot to add that I made a snow angel in the middle of the O
I went outside in the snow for about 45 minutes and my sister and I made the word SNOW with our feet. It was too big for me to take a picture of, so I drew it on sketch.io.
(the lines on the right are shadows)
I'm not sure how to help, sorry
But it usually works...
Yup
hmm . . . I use a laptop, are you on a phone?
Ugh it won't let me send the picture!
cool! (literally)
Same!! I got snow yesterday too!!!!!
