When the group got back it was mid-morning. "Try and get some sleep." Star said, droopy-eied. "Thank you, Star, for everything." Diamondsky said. Star bowed his head in response and trotted away with Morningleaf at his flank. "Do you want me to stay with you?" asked Starsun to Greywood. Greywood collapsed under a tree, to tired to answer her. "No, go to your mother and father, you need rest as well." said Diamondsky shaking her head. Starsun nodded and trotted off toward her mother. "Momma, i miss him..." said Greywood half asleep. "I know my darling... i know...." said Diamondky, stroking his mane. And before she knew it she fell asleep.

When she woke up Greywood, was curled into a ball next to her. Last night had been... everything but great. Grasswing cantered into view. " Star told me what happened... we will get our revenge on Mountain Herd.." Said Grasswing to Diamondsky. "That will start a war! Then, more pegasus will die." she answered, the life gone from her eyes. Greywood stirred next to her. Grasswing nuzzled her and grazed about a winglength away. Star landed and nikered Grasswing to follow him. He looked angery and puzzled. They walked away from any pegasus earshot and whispered to each other. She didnt hear it all, just bits and pieces. "Colt.... Mountain.... crimsom....Grey....wing....Herd..." But the last thing she caught caused her to wince. "Brackentail...." Star said to Grasswing. Grasswing whirled around and muttered something. Star kicked off and flew back the way he came. By now, Greywood was up. He didnt look as sad or angery but he did yesterday, but still dropey. Starsun landed in front of him. It was clear she new something. But she hid it. Greywood jumped up at the sight of her. Starsun walked forward and nuzzled him gently. "Thanks for being there for me." Greywood whispered in her ear. "That is what friends are for!" she whispered back. She tagged him on the shoulder and galloped away from him. He whinnied in delight and chased after her. When he played with her, he felt that there are no problems in the world. Just happiness. While they played, Grasswing walked quickly up to Diamondsky. He was panicked and looked furious. "You remember Brackentail? The colt who had a crush on Morningleaf?" Grasswing asked, in a whisper. "Yes. What is wrong?" Diaomondsky said, grazing. "He has joined forces with... Blackmoon... he is the Betrayer once again..." Diamondsky stopped grazing, and stared at Grasswing. "What does he want..?" she asked, furious. "He wants Morningleaf... and.... me....." Grasswing replied, his ears pinned......
