Greywood awoke from his nap to screaming pegasi and thundering hooves. He scrambled to his feet. Riverbreeze and Starsun where nowhere to be seen. "What is going on!? Where are my friends?!! Mother?! Father?!!!" he neighed to no one in particular. He started to gallop away from the hooves, but they followed him. The sound of the hooves echoed in every direction, making him not know where to run. He flapped his wings and lifted above the trees trying to get his bearings. He noticed a black pegasus fighting along side a chestnut one. "Star and Morningleaf!!" he said to himself. He was just about to fly down to them when something tackled him. He was toppled out of the sky. He came hurling toward ground. He tried to see who was holding his wing, but the ground crept up on him and he slammed into the grass.....

He awoke by a pegasus jabbing him in his flank. "Young one.......wake up...." a strong and low voice lifted into his brain, and he opened his eyes and groaned. "Ow! My head!! Where am I? Where is my mother and father? My friends? Are they okay? Are we in a war?" he clutched his head with his wings. He looked around. He wasn't in Sun Herd anymore. "Easy there, we don't want to hurt you." said the voice again and Greywood looked up to see a brown, tall, stallion with orange feathers looking down on him. But the most confusing thing is, Morningleaf was standing next to him. As he looked around he could see... snow? But that was impossible! It was spring in Sun Herd! A bright flash of lavender and aqua caught his attention. It was Riverbreeze and Starsun, and they were laying together under a tree.....................trembling in fear........
