Wingsong watched as Mapleroot tended to Sunmist’s wing. She felt horrible and guilty. Wingsong felt hot tears fill her eyes and roll down her cheeks. She stood up, and slowly walked to Sunmist. ”I-I’m really, really sorry Sunmist..” Wingsong stammered, a waterfall of tears streaming down her cheeks now. Sunmist narrowed her eyes, stared at the filly, then looked at the ground. Wingsong sighed and walked out of the grove. Her sire, Frostwing, her dam, Skycloud, and her brother Icefeather were waiting outside. The over-stallion stepped forward. ”What happened?” Wingsong lowered her head. ”Sunmist and I got into a fight- I started it. I think I broke her wing..” Frostwing perked his ears. “We’ll discuss this later.“ He walked into the grove. Her dam stepped forward. ”What made you do it?” ”I got angry. Sunmist was saying things I didnt like to hear. So I attacked her..” Skycloud nodded slowly. ”Did you apologize?“ Wingsong nodded. Her dam nuzzled her softly and followed Frostwing into the grove.
