Wispiflower: About what? What is there to talk about?

Wispifrost: -keeps walking buts listens closely to be sure she hears him-

Crimsonwind: Mother and father don’t even love each other... they just had me so mother could try and fool your sire. Thankfully he’s smarter than that. Father has always been hard on me, ever since I could walk and talk. Mother just ignores me.

Windwing: Why can’t you believe me? Wispiflower, the twins are scared. They think we’re gonna split up. Do you want that to happen?!

Wispifrost: ... Wow. I knew they must have been mean to you a little, but I thought maybe they would at least... -trails off-

Crimsonwind: -sighs- They’re pure evil. I used to like that, but now.. good is better.

Wispiflower: -whirls to face him- Of coarse I don’t! But if it becomes necessary, -chokes up- so be it. -leaves and returns to Junetree-

Wispifrost: -looks at the ground awkwardly- -catches a scent- ... Hey, I think I can smell the violet!

Windwing: -gapes for once-

Crimsonwind: -sniffs- Me too!

Wispiflower: -feels broken inside-

Junetree: -looks at her friend and temporarily lets Mapleglade’s head rest on the ground instead of in her wings- What happened? -sympathy in her eyes-

Wispiflower: Um.... I’d rather not talk about it.... -takes a deep, gasping and shuddering breath-

Windwing: -hovers in the air a bit- -sighs and lowers to the ground-

Mapleglade: -breathes heavily and coughs, trying to get the words out- Where’s..- Wi- -coughs some more- wing..?

Coperpool: -finds Windwing standing in the woods where himself and Whitefrost are exploring- What happened?

Windwing: -perks ears- What are you two doing here?

-ignores his question-

Junetree: -head snaps back to full attention on her mate- Where is Windwing? I don’t know exactly.

Coperpool: -shrugs- Exploring. Now, back to my question.

Wispifrost: -finds it quickly- We found it! We found it! -lays on one of It’s gigantic petals- Look how big it is! -feels it with feathers- And it’s so smooth!

Mapleglade: Oh.. -says weakly-

Windwing: Oh. I’m just chillin.

Crimsonwind: Whoa! Their huge!

Wispifrost: Come On! You gotta lay on one of the petals! It’s so soft and sweet smelling.... -drifts off to sleep right there on the petal-

Coperpool: I could tell. But what happened with you and Wispiflower?

Junetree: Don’t talk anymore. Save your strength. -feels his forehead- You have a high fever.

Crimsonwind: -perks ears- Wispifrost? -nickers softly as he realizes she’s asleep-

Windwing: -paws ground- Why does it matter? She said she wouldn’t even care if we broke up. I don’t want to, but I’m afraid she does.

Mapleglade: Oh -mumbles-

Wispifrost: -snorts in her coma-like sleep-

Coperpool: -immediately shakes head- No way! She would never wanna leave you! Unless... -trails off- Did she say she had a reason?

Windwing: She said if its necessary...

Coperpool: -raises eyebrow (go with it)- Is that all she said??

Wispifrost: -wakes up almost immediately- I’M UP, I’M UP!!! -falls back to sleep again-

Windwing: Pretty much.

Crimsonwind: -rolls eyes and nickers, then lays down next to her and lays crimson wing over her to keep her warm-

Wispifrost: -nerves make her shiver at the touch-

Crimsonwind: -lays head on the petals and falls asleep-

Coperpool: -sighs- Are you sure?

Windwing: -nods strictly-

Wispifrost: -opens eye a crack- -nearly jumps out of her hide when she sees Crimsonwind next to her- -calms and tries not to move too much- -thinks, “what the heck is this uncomfortable bubbly feeling?!”-

Wispiflower: -leans over Mapleglade to see his face better with Junetree- You’re brother is a very confusing pegasus. You don’t by any chance have extra knowledge about him, do you?

Crimsonwind: -feels her jump and picks up wing- Sorry

Mapleglade: -moans, not able to answer-

Wispifrost: -embarrassed- No, it’s okay. I mean... -tries not to say anything obvious-

Crimsonwind: Its fine thats my fault. -looks around- Well.. should we go find your parents?

Wispifrost: -doesn’t think through this answer- You didn’t do anything wrong! I mean, my parents... but.... -realizes what she was about to say and shuts her mouth-

Crimsonwind: -perks ears- But what..?

Maytree: -taking a pleasure walk- -sees them through the trees- -gasps and hides behind a bush to spy-

Wispifrost: Ummm... -feels cheeks heat up-

Crimsonwind: -shakes head- Nevermind. I shouldn’t be asking that.

Crimsonwind: -hears leaves rustle and perks ears, turning head- -sees some familiar feathers in the bushes- Maytree?

Maytree: -comes out guiltily- Oh, hi guys! What are you doing here? Hehe, hehehe....

Wispifrost: -turns rose pink from ears to neck- When did you get here cous’?

Maytree: Ohhhh ummm... -shoots a sorrowful look at Crimsonwind-

Crimsonwind: -perks ears and just stares, not knowing what to say-

Wispifrost: -shifts from hoof to hoof- Well, this is awkward. Someone please say something.

Maytree: How aboutttttt bye? -starts to leave-

Maytree: -jumps into the air and flies straight into Hollylight and Emeraldblaze- Oh, hello. Who are you? I’m so sorry.

Hollylight: -smiles- -looks at her sister to do the talking for once-

Emeraldblaze: -blinks, realizing she has never met this filly- Oh, hi

Maytree: I’m Maytree. My sire’s name is Mapleglade.

Emeraldblaze: -realizes- How could I not know my own cousin?!

Emeraldblaze: -looks at Hollylight- Our sire is Coperpool, your mother’s brother

Maytree: -gapes- -beams- I HAVE NOT TWO, BUT FOUR COUSINS!!!!! It is so great to meet you!!!

(Their related? I thought only Coperpool and Junetree were related so that makes the foals cousins.)

Hollylight: Oh, my sister’s name is Emeraldblaze. -again forgets her sister can speak for herself-

Maytree: -nods approvingly- That’s a pretty name too!

Emeraldblaze: -gives her sister a look then turns to Maytree- Thanks!

(Wait- Whitefrost and whoever his mate is gonna be.. their related through “marriage” aren’t they?)

Maytree: Have you met my other cousins? Whitefrost and Wispifrost?

Wispiflower: -tries again- Can you speak Mapleglade?

Emeraldblaze: We’ve met Whitefrost

Mapleglade: -coughs- N-no.

Maytree: -immediately sees that both sisters like like her cousin- Ah, okay.

Junetree: -whistles for her daughter-

Emeraldblaze: Sure!

Maytree: Alrighty then. Follow me! -flies in the direction of the whistle-

Junetree: -spots her filly and stops whistling-

Hollylight: No, we’re her cousins. She just told us that her mommy is our daddy’s sister or somethin’. Is that you ma’am? -smiles sweetly-

Rainblaze: -perks ears and stares at her fillys- Where were you two?!

(So Whitefrost, Wispifrost, and Crimsonwind are yearlings. Emeraldblaze, Hollylight, and Maytree (right?) are like... 6 months/moons old. Windwing is 15, Coperpool is 13, Wispiflower is 14, Junetree is 12, Rainblaze is 12, and Mapleglade is 13.)

Junetree: -looks at Rainblaze now- Um, how did I not know about them? -indicates her nieces-

Wispifrost: O-oh, Okay then... I’m going back to my mother now... -kicks of lightly and flies away, wondering what just happened-

Rainblaze: Uhhh..

Junetree: Whatever. But I don’t see why you actually needed to keep these two a secret.

Rainblaze: -paws the ground and snorts- Ask your brother..

Junetree: Why? Was it his idea?

Rainblaze: Its okay honey, don’t worry about it.

Rainblaze: -sighs-

Junetree: She didn’t-? -sees Mapleglade groan and try to get up and catches him quickly before she stumbled back to the ground- Don’t try to get up! You’ll hurt yourself!

Mapleglade: -groans and collapses-

Junetree: What hurts the most? Tell me so I can help you!

Junetree: -rolls eyes when she remembers he cannot speak- -offers him pain ridding herbs-

Mapleglade: -chews them slowly-

Junetree: Thaaaat’s right. Gooood job.
