Rainfeather heard her words, of course. Moonheart's voice was as clear as Lightray's glistening cremello coat was in the sky, but her hooves thought otherwise. She was rooted to the ground. Moonheart turned her head, looking sort of annoyed.

"Comin'?" The daughter of Star and Morningleaf questioned. Rainfeather noticed the rest of her friends were also rooted to the ground.

"Of course.. were just surprised we found you here in the middle of this endless forest." Starfrost explained in a flat formal tone, kind of reminding Rainfeather of the her wise, blind friend Redwind.

Moonheart sighed. She looked deep into her eyes and saw longing there. Longing to see Starfrost.

"I know." She replied.

Lightray, Hazelblaze, Redwind and Rainfeather wondered who would win the silent staring contest. Starfrost won.

"Please, come with me. We need your help." Moonheart whinnied desperately. Finally, the pegasi followed her when she began turning her head. It was hours until they got to the coast where the legends Star, Morningleaf, Brackentail, Riversun and even Riversun's fully grown colt Flamewind. Rainfeather's throat tightened. Their coats were dull. Short heaving breaths came from all them and they scars crisscrossing around they're bodies. Brackentail even had a rope on him that looked like its been there for eons.

"This can't be good." Lightray whispered in her ear. Rainfeather nodded, gulping down her agony.

"What happened to you?" Hazelblaze asked aloud.

Star bowed his head. "We have failed, and we are asking for your help to make Anok free-" Star exhaled and slouched. "again."
