    Rainfeather's Story 28

    in FAN FICTON

Rainfeather clashed with the chestnut stallion as Hazelblaze and Lightray clashed with Elmwing. She fought for her life, dodging blows to the head. Being small had its perks. When the big stallion reared meeting her face to face so quickly Rainfeather couldn't dodge, in a panic, she reared and pierced the stallion's chest, creating a huge gash. Rainfeather gasped. She'd never drew blood before! She was surprised, and so was the chestnut stallion. But the landwalker noticed there pause while on the chesnut's back and threw a tough string around her. It was nothing like a spider's. Fat and brown braided to make it larger. Rainfeather thrashed, but nothing could break this string. She was already tired from the unfinished battle, and she was tiring even more, growing weaker and weaker, and began to give up. She sunk to the ground, feeling defeated when the crushing of bone caught her ear. The blow was so hard the sandwen and the steed were knocked out cold.

    "Get up." The voice said.

    Rainfeather stood.

It was only four vs one. But even if Elmwing would never use his starfire on either of them, they had to run. They were all tired and injured except for one. And one vs one strong ancient pegasi couldn't defeat him.

"We need to retreat, if this lasts any longer we'll be slaughtered."

Lightray, Rainfeather, and Hazelblaze agreed. They flew away. Rainfeather expected Elmwing to follow them. But there he stood, not moving a muscle. Rainfeather took a glance at the mystery colt and noticed his eyes were white, which meant he was blind.

    "What's your name?" Hazeblaze asked.

"The names Redwind, I know what Elmwing is up to."

And Hazelblaze is gonna end up with him, right? Not Lightray? And Rainfeather isn’t gonna fall for him, right? That would be the end of reading this for me if Rainfeather fell for Redwind (even though he is my second fave character)

Yea, tbh, Redwind is one of my favorite characters. He is so easy going and mysterious and attractive and- reminds me of Thunderray XD
