2 Days Later

Rainfeather's hooves skidded the water creating gentle ripples. Hazelblaze haven't spoken since the beginning the journey, except for needs of sleep and who will take watch. They just started their journey a day ago, since the Fire Herd main grounds are located in Jungle Herd, it wasn't long when they got to the coast. Rainfeather's wings ached from an hour of flying, but she would never admit it outloud. Hazelblaze wasn't breaking a sweat. Her soft black mane flowing behind her, her rose red wings griping the wind perfectly. Rainfeather sighed and spoke sternlly. "Lets rest for the day." Hazelblaze gazed at her with her dark green eyes. "But we just started flying, we rested an hour ago, lets continue." Rainfeather rattled her feathers at her bossy tone, but it reminded Rainfeather of her own. She groaned but agreed and continued flying. Rainfeather's feathers were on edge. What did Mavelyn contain? Was Moonheart and the rest of the Black foals there? What does Starfrost has to do with this? Why does Elmwing want to build a portal? Most of all, was Lightray ok? All this over-whelmed her. Rainfeather shed feathers, and her breaths started to quicken. Hazelblaze startled. "You okay?" Rainfeather was about to nod when a sharp pain stung her wings. An image came to view, her sire and dam, but transparent. Rainfeather imagined Lightray joining them. Flying off together to the golden meadow. Away from her. Rainfeather grimaced as her wings gave off when she plumetted toward the ocean head first. Hazelblaze darted foward. The world vanished in her point of view. But she still heard the squeal of Hazelblaze. The delicate whisper she doubt she heard. "Shark!"
