Rainfeather watched her friend open his eyes. "What?" He groaned blinking the sleep out of his bright blue eyes. Rainfeather pranced on her hooves nervous and excited. "I can't believe you're sleeping in on such an important day!" She exclaimed. Lightray stood lazily. "What day is it?" He asked rubbing his eyes with his wings. Rainfeather rolled her eyes and shoved him sideways with her muzzle. "Today's my first day of Sky herder training silly!" She amused. Lightray jumped finally fully awake. "AH I'M LATE!" He flew out of the area as fast as his wings could take him. "Wait! Training starts- this evening." But Lightray was already gone. Rainfeather rolled her eyes again and flew after him enjoying the feeling of flight. By the time she arrived training was already in session. Guess I was wrong. She thought. She trotted to the group and squeezed through them being the smallest pegasus there. It was easy to spot Elmwing, giving the team orders. Rainfeather shot him a glance. Elmwing ignored her. "Oceanheart Riverfrost, Lightray Hazelblaze, Rainfeather.. and Mossfog. A chunky stallion named Mossfog stood away from the group with large teeth and very small hooves for his build. Rainfeather frowned and trotted over to him. Lightray came to wish her luck. "Good luck. Today you'll be learning the sky herder language but just you wait! Soon we'll be training the real stuff!" A pretty bay mare with a large star, dark green eyes, and rose red feathers tipped in emerald green trotted over to them, clearly a mountain herd mare. "This is Hazelblaze." Lightray introduced. Hazelblaze nuzzled him, showing off they're relationship. Lightray slid away from her. "We met in Sky herder class." Hazelblaze gave her a stare colder than the snow beneath her hooves. "Hazelblaze?" She said, trying not to sound rude.
