Shadow wing had led him and storm flower to a large oak tree ”what is going on?” Storm flower asked her farther he sighed in reply, he turned his head towards falcon feather “where are the others?” he asked in a sad tone “others.” Shadow wing was about to speak but instead he jerked his head up as if he had heard something “Come out.” he said in a tired voice, falcon feather and storm flower spun around to see Curl breeze and Meadow heart and a pinto cult he had never seen before step out of a large bush, “I told you this wouldn’t work.” grumbled Meadow heart to the strange pinto cult “hey its curl breeze you have to be angry at, not me.” he snapped in reply “what are you doing here any ways?” asked storm flower “i need you all.” said shadow wing “ blizzard herd needs you all.” falcon feather was stunned, storm flower and meadow heart looked confused and Curl breeze mumbled something that sounded like “about time.” he and the pinto exchanged a glance “me and Siren cloud picked you because.” He sighed falcon feather felt his pain he was to young for this only five years shadow wing took in a great deal of air “courage.” he pointed a black feather towards curl breeze “loyalty.” shadow wing pointed his feather at falcon wing “ambition.” this the time the feather was directed at the pinto cult “honesty” he looked at Meadow heart this time ”and intelligence.” the feather had stranded at Storm flower “a great danger has awakened and I trust you wind whisper to take this team, and save blizzard herd.” Falcon feather guessed that the pinto was Wind whisper “now you have time to say your goodbyes.”
After Stormfrost came back from the Golden Meadow, nothing was ever the same. She retained her position as over mare, at least until Flamefire came to take his rightful position as Flamewing. Stormfrost kept her name, and the Sun Herd pegasi respected her. The other herds remained peaceful for the time being, and sometimes Lightwing would come to say hello. Flamefire was always with him. Raincloud kept her duties as lead mare because there was no one else to fill the spot. Sun Herd was a peaceful place, and the pegasi were happy. Grassfeather and Stormfrost rarely talked anymore, but Stormfrost never felt alone. Sometimes pegasi would ask her what the Golden Meadow was like, and she would always say, “It is paradise.” After a few moons, Ashroot got sick and flew to the Golden Meadow. Stormfrost was sad, but she knew that Ashroot would be happy there. Life would continue on, in an endless cycle, forever and ever, and the pegasi that finish their cycle have a place to go, a path to take, one that could never end.
