I know I already suggested a book, but I just finished this book and I thought it was so amazing that I'd share, here's what is says on the back of the book to give you an idea of what it's about:
It is 1914, and Joey, a farm horse, is sold to the army and thrust into the midst of World War I on the Western Front. When Joey is dragged away, his heart aches for Albert, the farmer's son he is forced to leave behind. In the army the beautiful red-bay horse is trained to charge the enemy, drag heavy artillery, and carry wounded soldiers not much older than Albert off the battlefeilds. Amongst the clamoring of guns, and while plodding through the cold mud, Joey wonders if the war will ever end. And if it does, will he ever find Albert again?

Mrs. Alvarez has stared the discussion for this book: http://www.theguardianherd.com/messageboard/wingbeats-book-club/war-horse-1
I've read it once and I actually don't remember it that well :(
3rd time? I shouldn't really be asking because I'm pretty sure I've read all 12 of the Ranger's Apprentice books at least 7 times or something, some of them more than others
IKR, I've wanted to see the move ever since I red the book for the third time
OH. . . MY. . . GOODNESS. . . that looks so good!!
It's not that bad
I absolutely loved the book War Horse!! I want to see the movie, but it's war so it sounds violent
Who are we talking about?
I think she was "RainfeatherFan" right?
Great suggestion!
I watched the movie. But not all of it. I shut it off after the first battle scene on horseback when i saw all of those dead horses and instead interested myself by sitting down and crying the living daylights out of myself. XDXDXD i have such a weak heart.....
Lightbreeze before were you Rainfeather? Sorry I just had to ask because your name and picture changed ;-P
Yes I started reading it but I dont think I finished cause I was in second grade at the time ;-) Still is AMAZING though
Oh ok
It rated PG-13 for "intense sequences of war violence"
I just watched the trailer and it looks SO GOOD! But you said there wasn't any bad or ugly stuff...? I can't stand that stuff.....
XD
Lol, I just looked up the movie on my amazon fire tablet, and one of the moves to come up was based on the life of the great-great-great-grandsire of a horse I've ridden
Well it is suposed to be WWI
Yeah, but its not so bad. Idk why I watched it at like 6 years old XD But when I saw it it wasnt gory or bloody or cursy or inapropriate '-'
