Ben: He glared at her playfully and smirked. “Hm…not really since you’re ticklish, too.“ He teased. “Don’t get too ahead of yourself.”
Summary: (Thank you, River!)
SOOO Colchi and Topaz made it to Irichad (i'm not sure how much you know so I'll just give it all to you) where they met Eric and Noah, two fierce warriors who guard Irichad's border. They brought them into the village, where they met Declan, the poet who can speak Centak, and his two young daughters. Declan served as translator for Colchi and Topaz, who we later decided can speak and understand Irich since her mother had taught her before she died. Declan spoke to the 2 strangers for some time, and they discussed Irichad's culture, rules, and history. Topaz, falling in love with Irichad and Declan's daughters, decided that she wanted to stay (my own comment, to prevent confusion, falling in love as in, she just adores their daughters!!). She offered her medicine knowledge and her bilingual education to teach other's Centak as a trade-she can stay in Irichad and in return, she can help the injured and teach Centak. Colchi and Declan supported this. They had dinner, then Declan brought them to meet Chief Seamus (the leader of Irichad) to ask permission for Colchi to pass through, as planned. And for Topaz to stay permanently as a resident. After some talking and shared drinks, Seamus agreed, but only on the condition that Topaz would hold up her end of the deal and work. She would have to pull her own weight, support herself, and work, or else she couldn't stay. They met Seamus's first-born son Oliver, who's main job is Topography and Geography. He organizes the construction of new buildings and houses, and he's memorized every inch of Irichad, so naturally, he's going to help Topaz find a place she wants to stay.
Leaving the Cheif's home, they headed back to Declan's home to temporarily stay a few days with him and his daughters, at least until Topaz can get settled in and Colchi can continue on his journey home.
Sultaan and Reba are currently sorting out things since Reba just revealed her untold pregnancy to him
Recomment for Nightmist)
Heisly:
She giggled. "I know right? Do you think this might have an owl or two?" She asked excitedly.
Teirron:
"Uhhh... well, she can't... because... she's too hurt," he replied. "You need to come to her." Teirron hoped that the old mare would believe him and follow him back to the pegasus mare he still didn't know the name of. (SOBZ NIGHTMISTTT)
(OKIE DOKIEEEEE)
(Bruh. I'ma make a new part. Everyone, gather your recomments for others. me too plz T^T. Don't continue!! Sanx yall)
Rayla:
She laughed softly, "Anything you cook."
Asha:
She sidestepped it, not knowing it already wouldn't hit her. She took a step forward. "I'm not scared that easily."
Sunpond:
Her face twisted and she snorted. "By the end of his story, Star was just as mortal as the other pegasi. Nightwing was gone and the only ones who reigned were the Ancestors. We know this land because it is all we know. We have much to learn from you, and perhaps, with time, you can learn things from us." She said serenely and her clear, unseeing eyes sparkling with hope at the possibilities.
Declan:
He raised a brow, curious and inquisitive, but he smiled. "As you say." Declan nodded as he finished both his bowl of soup and the bread Colchi has prepared. He hummed happily and nodded again. "By the way, your cooking is...iontach. (Remarkable) I do not know the proper word in Centak. Erm...amazing? Unique? Whatever the word, it was very good."
Asha:
"Shoot me, and I will."
Divan: Xe raised xyr eyebrow. "Why? Will you stab me?"
Kilroy: He faltered. The centaur had expected a disconnect between the two species, sure, but he the last thing he would have predicted was comparison to a figure that seemed to be the messiah of the pegasi. "I wouldn't say that," he said finally. God status was an advantage only an idiot diplomat would take. "We are as mortal as you are. We just know more about certain things than your people. You understand this land far more than us."
Ben:
He pursed his lips and chuckled. "So...Bar food?" He asked and grinned.
Sunpond:
Her ears were strained forward and she slightly leaned on her front legs, as if she was soaking up Kilroy's words. "Oh, wow! Your world seems so fascinating. You have things that can turn a small thread into a wonderful blanket like the one I'm wearing. You can make and contain fire from sticks and rocks. You can build things from trees and you call wolves your friends....If I didn't know any better, I'd call the centaurs as much of healers as Star himself." She said then smiled widely at Kilroy.
Declan:

(A healing flower? Like something Fawnroot could use to heal injuries with?)
Asha:
She took a step forward. "Put it down."
Colchi: "Good, and don't worry," he grinned. "I don't think I'll need to speak in Centak or Irich for the lesson. Science is a universal language."
Kilroy: "Yes, looms are a mechanism used to turn threads into fabric. Unfortunately I don't know much about them." He hoped to introduce Sunpond to someone who did, though.
Divan: Xe picked up the cumbersome musket that had only recently been used to shoot xyr leg. The centaur loaded it slowly, never taking xyr eyes off of Asha, xyr fingers making each movement with well practiced muscle memory.
Asha:
She held her knife, ready to fight.
Rayla: "Hm... anything that you make is my favorite food." she smiled up at him
Dawnsky:
"OK!" then she icked a random flower and brang it back (can it be a healing flower)
Declan:
"I take no offense. I understand your hesitance and I agree with it. Education should be more openly taught here, for knowledge is more powerful than any sword." He took another bite then smiled. "I'd rather confront an enemy with the skill of my tongue and power of words than the skill of my metal and the power of violence. But, that is simply the poet in me speaking." He shared a sincere glance with Colchi.
"And as for you teaching my daughters the sciences, it might pose a challenge considering you do not speak Irich and they do not understand Centak. But, either I or Topaz, I'm sure, would be happy to translate your lessons."
Sunpond:
"Weaving looms?" She asked with a curious smile and felt the fabric once more before swiveling her head back in Kilroy's direction.
Fawnroot:
She snorted gleefully and bobbed her head. "Okay, fine. Go pick out a plant of your choosing and bring it back. For fun, we can start easy and fun with just simple guessing games."
Colchi: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to insult your culture," he apologized, knowing he would have offended a less gracious host than Declan. "I'm sure I'd understand the benefits more if I knew this town like you do."
Kilroy: "Yes... it takes some time, but weaving looms make it easier," he explained. Thankfully Rayla had backed him in the purchase, he couldn't have afforded it on his own. Eventually, Johirestown might be allowed to know about this early investment, but now the destination of the tax funds was a mystery.
Declan:
"All good questions, and I agree with you, lad." He shrugged sadly and dismissively, "But, that's just the way our culture is. It's the way it always has been."
(Perhaps! In that department, he'd most likely believe that you could spend that time perfecting or practicing your career instead of studying something menial.)
Sunpond:
She felt along the stitching and lining of the blanket as she considered his words. Sunpond didn't remember those colors, but she felt the embroidment of the flowers that were intricately placed. "Fascinating. And the centaurs who made this blanket made this by hand?" She asked incredulous.
Colchi: "I don't think you are all uneducated barbarians!" he asserted. "But I do disagree with those methods. Science can be a great aid to a fisher. If they understand the marine ecosystem, they will know when and where they will find the most fish. If they understand the concepts of buoyancy and displacement, they can build better ships. Even something like reading skills are good to have... not just to learn more about fishing but to learn new, exciting things in general? Once someone has chosen a career, what should stop them from learning about their true passion?"
(I wonder if Seamus might think learning something that isn't useful or related to your job is a component of being a lazy centaur?)
Divan: The centaur rocketed to xyr hooves and sliding brass knuckles on xyr hands. "I gave you a choice... but see how you must now face the consequences!"
Kilroy: "It's brown, but there is a red pattern on the edges." The threads were stitched into small flowers. He was interested to see how many pegasi would notice.
Rayla:
"Hm... anything that you make is my favorite food."
Dawnsky:
"ok. i'm just super exited!"
Ben:
"I'm not sleeping because you're not sleeping." He said then ran a hand through his messy hair. "Well, since we're both awake and too stubborn to admit that we're tired...what's your favorite food?"
