Cameron: She looked back at Sultaan. "Are you alright?" She asked him again.
Summary:
Okay, so, Sultaan, Merrick, and Kelly were just fighting wolves and are returning victorious. They shooed Reba and Espen off back to camp ahead of them and Sultaan just saved Cameron's life, who are both unjured. Gleamwave and Riverdream are talking to Daniel, the centaur who had come into their lands and are a bit wary of him. Callum and Fawnroot are returning to Sun Herd land's, excited. It's night. Ashtohn is still hostage. (Anything I'm forgetting just comment)
Recomment for Nightmist:
Heisly:
She giggled. "I know right? Do you think this might have an owl or two?" She asked excitedly.
Teirron:
"Uhhh... well, she can't... because... she's too hurt," he replied. "You need to come to her." Teirron hoped that the old mare would believe him and follow him back to the pegasus mare he still didn't know the name of.
Kelly:
She blushed. "Thanks," she said softly. She looked at him, and smiled.
Kelly turned and walked back to the box, pulling out a different painting and setting down the other one.
She laughed softly at the painting, and showed it to Merrick.
It was a headshot of Kelly, making a duck face. Behind her, the sun was setting.
(ALRIGHTY GUYS IMA MAKE A NEW PART NOW!!!)
Merrick:
He lowered his eyelashes as he stared at the artwork. He looked from her mother, to her father, admiring the shading, color contrast, and different tones and textures she incorporated.
He lifted his eyes to Kelly, then back down at the painting. "Kelly, this is great. It looks so real." He complimented, offering a gentle grin.
"You look just like her," He added as he stared at Kelly's mother with her creamy coat and light golden hair.
Kelly:
She found them. First, she carefully pulled out a painting of two people. Her parents. She walked towards Merrick. "This is painting I did of my parents," she said.
She pointed to the person on the left. "This is my mother. My father described her the best he could, but he used a lot of words like 'beautiful' and 'wonderful' so it was a bit hard." Her mother had a light creamy golden horse hide with green eyes, and long light golden hair.
"And my father," she said softly, pointing at the fierce looking white buckskin stallion with messy black hair, and light blue eyes.
Merrick:
He nodded, his brows creasing in concern and guilt, but he didn't let the gaze linger. As Kelly dug through a box, Merrick walked in a slow circle as he looked around the room. He craned his neck upward to see the ceiling, which he probably could touch if he reached high enough, then let his gaze settle back down to Kelly as he patiently waited to see her artwork.
Kelly:
"I guess so. I didn't build it though. It was my mother's and father's. My mother designed homes, and she was an explorer. I never really got to know her because she died of sickness when I was 4. My father didn't like to talk about it, and you know what happened to him..." she trailed off.
"Anyway, this is my home now, now that my parents are gone." She walked over to the large box, and looked through it, looking for 2 certain paintings.
Merrick:
He peered over the top of her head to see the inside as she opened the door. He took in the space, his eyes scanning the corners of the room. He suddenly felt embarrassed about his home, which was connected to the blacksmith shop since he was an apprentice.
It was basically a wooden garage that was connected to the bigger wooden blacksmith building. It used to be used for storage, but it was cleaned out when Merrick started his apprenticeship.
Bringing his thoughts back to Kelly and her home, he smiled down to her. "Do you own all of this? How'd you build it?"
Kelly:
She blushed again. "Thanks, but it's not much." She opened the big old rusty door, revealing the inside. She had a big wooden box that was full of her clothes, blankets, and special charms, or things she collected. In the corner was her sleeping space, and on the other side was a big iron bucket full of boiled water.
Merrick:
He followed her, waving a small goodbye over his shoulder to the centaurs in the little den. He looked back froward and felt his jaw hang open as he stared at Kelly's home.
From the beautiful lumber of the roofing and walls, to the roses that climbed up the side like vines, her house was welcoming and cozy. Merrick chuckled and looked at the mare. "It's lovely."
Kelly:
She blushed. "Great!" She bit her lip to keep from smiling to much.
"My house is this way," she said, pointing North. She trotted forward, making sure he was following her. She smiled softly, flicking her tail back and forth nervously. Kelly hoped that her house was clean, she barely remembered what it looked like inside after all that's happened today.
Up ahead though, she could see the house. She smiled, her cheeks as pink as the roses that climbed up the side of the house.
(What do the centaur houses look like? Wooden, stone, clay?)
Merrick:
He lowered his eyes to Kelly, then raised his brows gently. Totally unprepared for her intimate offer, he tensed and scrambled to form a response. "Oh-uh...yeah! I mean, yeah, that's cool." He shrugged, trying to look nonchalant, but his bright eyes and grin betrayed him and revealed his excitement.
"I doubt my master will have anything for me to do-he's probably off helping others recover from the battle. I bet I could spare a couple minutes."
Kelly:
She glanced at Merrick and cleared her throat. "Um... do you want to... come over to my house? We can make sandwiches and chat or something... and I can show you some of my paintings..." She shifted nervously, wondering how he'll respond.
(I want to reply i just don't know what to sayyyy XD what should they do? I guess we can't really do anything until Ashsong gets back since she plays Ulrani and Sultaan and Espen XD any ideas?)
Valentina:
She looked at him suspiciously.
Kelly:
She quickly glanced at Merrick.
Curious:
He flicked his long tail.
(GTG FOR REALS)
Callum: Suddenly he reared, towering over the stallions' heads. "STOP!" He roared, his captain self welling up from the hidden depths. To his utter astonishment, the pegasi paused, surprised by the sudden authority shouted over them. "Where is your over stallion? Did he give the que yet?" He demanded, prancing heavily back and forth, his muscles rippling. "Let me ask one question. How is this helping? Well?" He looked at each of them, his mismatched eyes were bright with passion. "WELL!?" The only answer were unsure murmurs. "I was once a captain, first in the battlefield and what did all that sacrifice and hatred result in? MORE HATRED AND RAGE! That's what!" He broke into a trot. "DIVIDING A PEOPLE THAT COULD BE UNITED ISN'T THE ONLY WAY!" Callum beat his chest as he yelled. "We could live in peace and be friends! FAMLIY! And we can start that today." He paused, sweeping his eyes over them all. "Right now. Imagine what would be in the future of harmony. What I see is light and warmth! It might have been in the golden meadow when I saw it, but it doesn't mean we can't make it possible here! LISTEN TO ME NOW! I died once and who didn't give up on me? A pegasus with a heart of light, never full of herself. Your own medicine mare! She and I- we are united. And that's only a small glimpse of what we could start."
Callum trotted over to Fawnroot, pulling her close.
Rowan: She glanced at Ashtohn, before she continued to glare at the stallions.
She just loves to glare, doesn't she? XD))
Ashtohn:
The stallions grunted, holding both of them tightly.
Rowan: She tilted her head at the mare. Most pegasi could care less about Centaurs, but she seemed to care more than she had initially realized. She stopped struggling, and crossed her arms across her chest. (Still glaring at the stallions though XD)
Fawnroot:
Fury blazed in her eyes and she snapped her jaws at the nearest stallion. She successfully bit him in the ear and he jerked back with a surprised snort. Her anger grew as she watched several steeds drag the female centaur and Ashthon from the cave. Seeing Callum getting harshly attacked, she reluctantly pulled herself out of Callum’s arms, then opened her wings and leapt over Callum’s back. The mare drove her front hooves into the backs of the stallions who were relentlessly attacking his horse back. Fawnroot landed next to Callum and wrapped a protective wing over him. She pinned her ears flat and released a shrill, angry whinny, sounding similar to a lead-mare. “Leave. Them. Alone.”
