For you stuffed animal Star Wars fans

    in HERD CHAT

I am 15 years old and still a fan of stuffed animals/ plushies. There is just something about the item that makes me so happy. One of my favorite stuffed animal companies is Build-a-bear.

My family and i have been going there for years and we always make great memories(and plushies) that we will take with us for years. About two years ago(I think) we started watching Star Wars but it wasn't until recently that I thought

"Do you think there are Star Wars build-a-bears?"

Of course i managed to think of this just as i was about to fall asleep and couldn't stop thinking about it for close to two hours before i finally fell asleep. A smart person would have gotten out of bed, gone on the internet, and found out the answer to this question. But i didn't do that.

When i woke up the next morning, I got my tablet and went onto Build-a-Bear's website and found out the answer to my question. They did in fact carry Star Wars themed bears. I was so happy! I quickly ran and told @Skysun. Being 15 i thought it was kind of odd that i wanted a stuffed animal so bad but not only did they make Star Wars bears, but, they made The Child and one of my very favorite characters, The Mandalorian!

I am not sure if it is the plushie, or the memories that go along with it, but i still take great care of all my Build-A-Bears I have thus far.

Some of my family find it kind of silly that at my age, i still love and want stuffed animals. But they make me happy so i don't care!

I thought i would let you know since we found that we have quite a few Star Wars fans on here and Christmas is coming up. Just so you know, you don't need to go to the store in order to get the bear, you can order them online pre-stuffed or even un-stuffed and stuff it in the store (since i know covid is still around and some of us can't go to the store right now).

I used to think you had to in order to get one, but have since found that is not the case.

*me laughing in the corner knowing full well that I'm a 17 year old that still has waaaaaaaay more stuffed animals then all three of my younger siblings combined XD *

No seriously there's nothing wrong with having stuffed animals at any age. There's a lot of sentimentality that they carry, so who cares how many you have as long as they make you happy :D

Anyways, that's a SUPER cool find, sadly the closet build-a-bear to me is over 1,900 away, but I did look up pictures of the Star Wars stuffies and they're soooooo CUTE!!!!

I agree with you about the stuffed animal. Also you could order them online if you want them. We have ordered a few in the past and they do a great job at getting them to you in great condition.
