My family tradition is to have dinner at the Ashfield RSL club every Christmas Eve. It's always a blast and I love re-connecting with everyone.
Family includes:
My brother, me, dad and mum,
Uncle Moonray, Auntie Thunderfeather and my little cousin Grassray, (I used the pegasus generator for the names, but gave my auntie the suffix feather because her maiden name started with f, and it would be boring for all of them to have the same suffix.)
Uncle Stormtail and Auntie Stormray (both their names start with A, all my uncles and aunties are on my mum's side)
YiaYia (greek for grandma) Riverray and Great-Auntie Thunderray (ugh, curse the limited name generator!)
My Church usually has a Christmas Program that's put on by the Sunday School on Christmas Eve night. My whole family usually ends up involved doing one thing or another XD. After the service we have a 'birthday party' for Jesus in the Church basement which is always awesome because members bring in a bunch of different types of cupcakes and cakes that are usually home made and taste REALLY good. Then we all head home and (sometimes) we can convince my parents to let us open one gift before we go to bed. Then on Christmas morning, we usually get up and go to yet another Church service (this sometimes ends up being the 3rd or 4th service of the week for us), but once it's over and we get back home, we like to 'restart' the day and get back into our PJs before we start opening gifts.
Usually my family and I go to the Christmas Eve service at our church (Stormflight, my dad Mossfire, and I are in the choir) and afterwards we have a big potluck. Then we get home at about 2:00 in the morning and sleep late Christams Day, then open presents and have a family breakfast. It's my favorite time of year.
Every year our whole family goes to our grandparents' house for Christmas Eve!! It's a huge party and includes my aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, great-grandma, great aunt and uncle, and my second and third cousins! There's like...at LEAST 25 of us in the house together. I'm not sure that'll happen this year though...
So, my family and I have a bunch of medical issues, especially me and my older brother, and my brother had to spend a lot of time in the hospital when he was younger, so every year, we do a toy drive for kids who have to spend Christmas in the hospital as a way to say thank you.
