She glanced behind her, "No, Kifo. You didn't make me mad." She turned back forward and trotted faster, puffing out her wings. "I'm just ready to get back to the clearing."
After Vida had come to her full senses, and he had helped Iden up, he proclaimed, âAlright, time to go back to camp now that weâve found everyone we can. Câmon, it will soon be dark.â As he said the last part, he looked skywards as if his eyes could penetrate the canopy and see the sky fading to twilight. Of course, he couldnât, but he could tell by the sound of the crickets and the slight haze around everything.
They trudged along in silence, and Bakari was glad they didnât really question where they were going. Bakari had kept very precise notes in his head on their exact location, and when he wasnât sure, he would leave a feather tucked into the sodden ground, showing where they had been.
It wasnât the wisest idea, showing pegasi your path, but it was all he could do to remember exactly where they were. After quite a time gap, he said calmly, âWeâre almost there, keep moving now.â He, too, was eager to get back to the clearing they called home, not only to see Thea, but to make sure Silren and everyone else was safe.
She kept her eyes forward, "I was telling the truth. You didn't make me mad. And I want to get back to the clearing." She said, swishing her tail and trying to not snap at the colt.
They kept trotting in silence, until the sound of water filled her ears. "We're almost there. I can hear it." She informed the line of foals behind her. Soon enough the large, clear lake stretched out before her. "Okay, Kifo. You can clean your wounds now." She said, while laying down and rolling in the coarse sand.
Kifo looked down then looked up at Thea and said, "You just told me a fib just now and I don't like when people dont tell the truth,"
(Bye guys I can't be on tommorrow so see you wendsday)
The moment Vida fell, he gently caught her with his wings. Of course, it was extremely challenging to hold her up with nothing but his hollow wing bones, but he managed just fine. Then he looked at Astro and nodded with eyes fully wide, emphasizing that this was slightly dramatic. He had been trying to help Iden up, but clearly other things were demanding his attention.
( lol )
