Coalblaze thought for a moment. "It was not extremely cold, and not warm. It was tolerable, like a fall morning," He replied.

Mintcreek:

She chuckled. "Yeah...not a good feeling. Anyways-" she was cut off when she realised that Coalblaze was looking at her. She smiled at the ground and continued. 'Anyways, uh- was Cave herd hot or cold?"

Coalblaze looked at Mintcreek longingly, wishing he had friends like that.

Embermoon snickered quietly. Coalblaze chuckled with realization. "Like I said, unpleasant," He chuckled.

Mintcreek:

"Yep. Sounds familiar." she said, glaring at Embermoon who had once pelted her with a snowball while she was sleeping.

Embermoon smiled even brighter and nudged Morningcreek. Coalblaze saw this and glanced at Embermoon. "Waking up to snow doesn't sound that pleasant...... When you get hit in the face by a snow ball," He said with a smirk.

Mintcreek:

Her eyes twinkled as she imagined that. "Wow! Sounds really awesome. In Glacier herd, when you wake up, you wake up to snow. Lots and lots of snow." she chuckled

Embermoon shifted and looked away. Coalblaze nodded. "It's like every day when you wake up and come out of the cave, it's like being born again and again, seeing the world in a new light from the cave. Sometimes, if we're lucky, we find caves with crystals and hold ceremonies there," He continued.

Mintcreek:

"Yea, I bet it's a little colder." she said. "Tell me about Cave herd? What was it like living in caves?" Mintcreek asked, whipping her tail at Embermoon

Coalblaze smiled warmly. "it's just fine. A little colder than what I'm used to, but great," He said. Embermoon smiled so brightly at Mintcreek it was unbelievable

Mintcreek: "Greetings." she said, swallowing her fear 'How do you like Glacier herd so far?" she asked, trying to spark conversaion

Embermoon stopped abruptly in front of the Cave Herd steeds. The stallion was in front of them, facing away, and grazing. "Excuse me," Embermoon said. Coalblaze raised his head curiously but then glared. "Yes?" He asked, releasing his sharp gaze. "I'm Embermoon and this here is my best friend Mintcreek," She said, gesturing towards Mintcreek. Coalbalze nodded. "I am Coalblaze," He said in a deep and low vioce.

Mintcreek:

"Embermoon!! I'm gonna kill you!!!!! Let me go!!!!!!" she said to her friend, trying to pull her wing out of Embermoon's grasp

Embermoon laughed. "Just because of the way he looks........ You really should get to know him first!" She snickered. "Now, come with me," She said, dragging Mintcreek with her to the Cave Herd steeds.

Meanwhile, Bronzewing was with the Flame Herd couple. He was searching for Mistcloud. After a search, he found her nursing Pearlsong next to the path leading to Crimsonstorm’s grave. He approached her, the two Flame Herd steeds in tow. “Excuse me,” he said. “I would explain why I want to talk, but the reason seems obvious.”

Mintcreek:

"Please, don't tell anyone, but when I came back from the lake, he just...was so handsome.....he was....curious about Glacier herd and I thought that he was kinda....cute." she said, blushing

Embermoon stopped and looked at her with a smirk. "Alright. Tell me," She said urgently.

Mintcreek:

"Embermoon!!! No! No! Fine!! I'll tell you why I like him, just please don't tell anyone else." she pleaded

Embermoon looked at her suspicously. "He just I don't know what? You know what, we are gonna go talk to him!" She cackled dragging her friend away.
