Embermoon finsihed off the attacker that had hurt Jaggedwing and cantered over. "Are yo usure Mintcreek? I think he could make it back to Glacier Herd where we could take cover if there's another attack. But I trust you and I will get the pine tree root," She said before lifting off and cantering into the forest.
Mintcreek, who was apart of the patrol, landed in from of Jaggedwing. "I have watched many Medicine mare's. Bring me a pine tree root, lots of water, leaves from cedar trees, and a stick the size of his leg." she said, bending down to care for his wounds
He delivered a few more blows to the retreating Flame herd pegasi. When the attackers had all gone, Twigstrike looked around triumphantly. It was in that moment that he spotted Jaggedwing, the stallion was lying on his side, unconscious, blood was dripping from gashes on his flanks and shoulders. The sight of his Grandsire lying there made his heart skip a beat. Twigstrike quickly landed and started nosing around Jaggedwing, trying to asses his wounds. "He needs a medicine mare." he announced, and looked at the Glacier Herd steeds, "And I don't think he'll make it back to Cave Herd territory in this condition."
Embermoon saw Cave Herd's over-stallion falling. she dashed down and charged at the steed standing over him. She didn't know who it was, but she smacked into them with much force.
He watched the mare dash away, and realized that Flame Herd was close to loosing. A triumphant feeling surged through his body, and he quickly finished off two more Flame Herd steeds. Then out of now where he was hit by something that set him plummeting towards the ground. Jaggedwing franticly tried to stop his fall, but he wasn't fast enough, and he slammed into the ground. The last thing he remember before he blacked out was a stallion standing over him saying, "You chose to stand with Glacier Herd, this is what you get."
Embermoon nodded and dashed away. The Cave Herd steeds and the escort were starting to win. Embermoon had taken about 6 steeds down by now. She felt the adrenaline coursing through her veins. She rammed into a steed and sent him careening away and crashing into a tree.
Embermoon dashed over to Jaggedwing. "Are you alright sir?!" She asked kicking another steed in the mouth and sending them into a never ending backflip.
Jaggedwing was relived that Twigstrike, and a Glacier Herd mare had come to his aid. He had been way out numbered, and loosing ground quickly. Jaggedwing was now bleeding from numerous gashes, and was glad that he now had some help.
Dawnfire paced in front of the yearlings, and heard some of them complaining about having to stand around so long. She cleared her throat, "Can I have everyone's attention please." Dawnfire waited for the yearlings to turn their attention to her, "I don't want any complaining about standing here. You were order to do so, now deal with it. I cloud make this a lot harder for you, by taking away your privileges to talk."
( Ohhh then nvm that comment XD I keep on forgetting where ppl are anymore.... )
Embermoon bared her teeth and dove to help Twigstrike. She went up against a Flame Herd steed and floated in air still. The Flame Herd steed attempted to kick out her leg but failed becuase she had dove under him. She flew straight upward, one leg extended, and sliced the steeds belly open. The steed went careening away and hit the ground hard. She took a breath and went after another steed.
Twigstrike weaved through the fighting steeds, aiming a blow or kick at the Flame Herd steeds whenever he saw an opening. From what he could tell, the fight was pretty much even, and it was unclear who was winning. Suddenly a shriek of sounded from a large cluster of steeds, witch consisted of five or six Flame Herd warriors, and one Cave Herd stallion. Twigstrike's heart beats speed up as he realized that the stallion was Jaggedwing, and he appeared to be loosing.
Without hesitating, Twigstrike surged forward, and managed to take the Flame Herd attacking his grandsire by surprise. With one blow he sent one mare plummeting towards the ground, with another he sent a young stallion into a collision with a tree.
Canyongold pawed the ground with her hoof, wanting to take off into battle. She had hoped that there would have been a battle, but from what it seemed right now, the Flame Herd steeds were attacking. She didn't know this of course, but she could see flurries of feathers.
Fruitfire:
Fruitfire jolted up when the Cave Herd steeds left. He stepped out of the Medicine Den. He whinnied for his foals to come to him. They stood beside him and watched the Cave Herd steeds leave.
Breezebell raised her head at the noises coming from a distance. She saw flashs of feathers but could only see that. She cocked her head slightly and whirled to face Redmoon, who was quite a few winglengths away. Breezebell whistled a bird call to Redmoon. Redmoon turned her head to look at Breezebell. They shared a look and then Redmoon whirled around to see the flashing feathers.
At the first sight of Flame Herd steeds, Horizongold whirled to alert the steeds on the ground. He landed in front of Dawnfire and Bronzewing, Shadowfire a few steps away as he wad coming back from the council meeting. âFather, Uncle, Dawnfire,â Horizongold said quietly but urgently. âFlame Herd steeds attacked us and Cave herd!â Shadowfire bristled at first. âSo you turned tail and fled?â Horizongold lowered his head. âI came for reinforcements,â he said. âThere are only thirty or forty of them, but I don't know if we can trust Cave Herd in a fight. Come on, but quietly. I donât want to cause mass panic.â He lifted off, closely followed by the three of them. When rhey arrived at the scene of the skirmish, Horizongold was pleasantly surprised to see that Cave Herd was helping in the fighting.
(Dusksplash is Breezecloudâs and Bronzewingâs colt. Roughly theee or four months old. Dark gray and white pinto, sky blue wings. Two hind stockings.)
(And Nightmist, can you please add Hollywing and Robincloud's descriptions to the character post? http://www.theguardianherd.com/messageboard/herd-chat/alternative-ending-rp-characters )
As soon as the Cave Herd steeds had flown far enough away, Sparrowfire gave another round of orders, "You may break off and meet up with your instructors, training will continue as normal!" he said.
When the patrol had come in sight of the border, he heard a sound behind him, and looked over his shoulder just in time to see sand colored pegasus slam into the gray Glacier Herd stallion. More sandy colored steeds appeared out of nowhere, and began attacking the others both Glacier Herd and Cave Herd steeds alike. Without skipping a beat, Twigstrike dove into battle, Jaggedwing by his side.
Snowfrost headed over to where the Cave Herd pegasi were resting. "Are you almost ready?" he asked.
Jaggedwing nodded, "We are ready to go whenever you are."
"Okay," said Snowfrost, "I'll give you a few more minuets, then we will leave."
"We?" asked a bay roan stallion.
"Mistcloud would like you to be escorted to the border." said Snowfrost.
"Very well." said Jaggedwing, and the old stallion turned and gathered his steeds around him. Snowfrost did that same to his patrol, and then the combined group headed off towards the border. The air was calm and peaceful, but there wasn't much talking.
Suddenly, something rammed into Snowfrost, and he saw it was a pegasus. He twisted his wings, and sent his assailant plummeting towards earth. At first he thought the Cave Herd steeds were attacking, but then he saw flame colored feathers and sand colored coats, and he realized that these were Flame Herd pegasi. There about 30 of them, 'What are they doing way up here?' Snowfrost thought, but he didn't have time to ponder his question, because his he was under attack yet again.
Starsummer: "Well, he came here to escape from Flame herd. He did that. He came here to seek our protection. He got it. He promised us information. He hasn't done that. I say, we ask him everything he knows about Flame herd. Their weaknesses. Their strengths. After that, if he wishes, I propose that he may join the army and help us deafeat Flame herd."
"I think that it will be up to Cave Herd to figure out how to prove that their intentions are pure." said Mistcloud, "I believe that even the most perfect strategy will fail if those executing it are not disciplined enough to follow even the most simple of commands. And you make a good point about Fruitfire, what should we do with him."
Breezecloud spoke up. âYes, two last things. One, how will Cave herd prove their loyalty? And two, what about Fruitfire? Shouldnât we be focused on war strategy rather than discipline and form?â
"Glacier Herd was once had one of the strongest armies in Anok, but that was not because of our numbers, it was because of our discipline." said Mistcloud, relieved that the council seemed to be understanding the gravity of the situation. "We must try to in force this as much as with both the yearlings and the steeds in the armies."
âI meant âcalm downâ,â Shadowfie clarified. âBut I think I know what you mean. On a battlefield, that could be catastrophic. The problem isnât the orders, itâs the lack of training and discipline.â
Mistcloud sighed, realizing that the council was missing her point, "Yes, that might be the reason." she said, "But when I give an order, I expect it to be followed. Nothing may have happened today, but what if something like that were to happen on the battle field?"
she shrugged. "Maybe they were just confused with what you were asking of them. Maybe they thought you would try to attack Cave herd before we knew why they were here."
Bronzewing sided against Mistcloud. âThey have only been training for two days!â he said. âAnd they did form ranksâ they just didn't keep the ranks still, which was never specified.â
Breezebell sighed and looked at Magicpetal. "What do you think they decided? I would love to interigate these Cave Herd steeds..." She said, scanning the 20 steeds again.
Magicpetal: "I'm not sure." she flicked her ears toward the council "They look to be about done. Besides, Embermoon took her place with Sparrowfire, so they must be coming to a close."
The mare over heard Breezebell, "You think this is hard?" she said, "Mistcloud used to have us stand like this for hours. She said it help us improve out discipline."
"Embermoon, you may leave now." said Mistcloud, a little frustrated by the mare's presence. "But I need the wrest of you to stay here, there is potential issue that I need to address."
Embermoon nodded. "Then will we tell the steeds that they can stand down? They all seem to be very antsy in their positions......" She said, looking at all the yearlings.
( XD. Yeah...........Sorry about that.... I guess RPs just get me out of the real world and I just love to RP because I can be my own characters and I can explore the different personalities and stuff........ )
Embermoon twisted her ears. "Alirght. Will the Cave Herd steeds leave tommorrow?" She asked.
Breezebell looked over the group of steeds. She wanted to see the council to try and impersonate what they were saying. She saw Redmoon trying to do the same. They made eye contact for a moment and they both nodded and contineud to watch the council.
(hehe......oops.... XD. BTW, Dragon, I was updating Mintcreek's description when I saw that you need to update Silverflame's character. It still says that he's 0)
She stamped her hoof on the ground, "I say we send just a small team to escort the Cave Herd pegasi to the border." she said, "Not enough to weaken our army if Flame Herd were to attack, but enough to ensure the Cave Herd leaves our territory. We could send you Embermoon, with Snowfrost, Honeyfall, Copperpool, Horizongold, and Mintcreek."
(Done)
( Okay )
(ok)
(I'm going to make part 19 real quick)
Embermoon finsihed off the attacker that had hurt Jaggedwing and cantered over. "Are yo usure Mintcreek? Jaggedwing gritted his teeth, "Yes, I'm fine. Just keep fighting." he said.
Embermoon dashed over to Jaggedwing. "Are you alright sir?!" She asked kicking another steed in the mouth and sending them into a never ending backflip.
Jaggedwing:
Jaggedwing was relived that Twigstrike, and a Glacier Herd mare had come to his aid. He had been way out numbered, and loosing ground quickly. Jaggedwing was now bleeding from numerous gashes, and was glad that he now had some help.
(lol, it is pretty confusing)
Dawnfire:
Dawnfire paced in front of the yearlings, and heard some of them complaining about having to stand around so long. She cleared her throat, "Can I have everyone's attention please." (Umm... Embermoon is supposed to be with Snowfrost and the others)
Redmoon moaned, wanting to be set free position when she saw the council talking ergently she cocked her head in confusion.
Twigstrike:
Twigstrike weaved through the fighting steeds, aiming a blow or kick at the Flame Herd steeds whenever he saw an opening. From what he could tell, the fight was pretty much even, and it was unclear who was winning. (Okay)
( That's all that i can give..... )
( Yeah I knows......... But still the wind could've carried the feathers all the way overthere sooo yeah............
(They got attacked at the border, they are nowhere near Glacier Herd)
( I completely forgot about Canyongold XD )
Canyongold pawed the ground with her hoof, wanting to take off into battle. She had hoped that there would have been a battle, but from what it seemed right now, the Flame Herd steeds were attacking. She didn't know this of course, but she could see flurries of feathers.

Sparrowfire:
As soon as the Cave Herd steeds had flown far enough away, Sparrowfire gave another round of orders, "You may break off and meet up with your instructors, training will continue as normal!" he said.

(I just figured out how Cave Herd can prove their intentions)
(Fruitfire)
(Wait..what is she in charge of?)
Mistcloud:
"Starsummer."
Breezecloud lifted her head. âMe? Or Starsummer?â
Mistcloud:
"I think you should be in change of this." said Mistcloud, "What do you think."
Starsummer: "Well, he came here to escape from Flame herd. He did that. He came here to seek our protection. He got it. He promised us information. He hasn't done that. Starsummer shook her head and cocked a hoof.
Mistcloud:
"Thank you for understanding." said Mistcloud, "Does anyone else have something to bring up?"
Starsummer nooded. "The next day of training will be on discipline and respect." she added.
Mistcloud:
"Glacier Herd was once had one of the strongest armies in Anok, but that was not because of our numbers, it was because of our discipline." said Mistcloud, relieved that the council seemed to be understanding the gravity of the situation. "We must try to in force this as much as with both the yearlings and the steeds in the armies."
(ok bai)
(Gtg)
Starsummer: "We'll fix that immidiatly." she said, raising her head and puffing out her wings
âI meant âcalm downâ,â Shadowfie clarified. âBut I think I know what you mean. On a battlefield, that could be catastrophic. The problem isnât the orders, itâs the lack of training and discipline.â

(ah)
(Swim lesson)
Bronzewing sided against Mistcloud. âThey have only been training for two days!â he said. âAnd they did form ranksâ they just didn't keep the ranks still, which was never specified.â
Magicpetal: "No. We stay in position." she said, firmly "You heard Sparrowfire's order."
(back)
( Idk... I don't stalk ppl XD )
(Were is Flamefrost?)
Breezebell glanced at her. "Maybe we should sneak....away....," She whispered to Magicpetal, still looking all around the Cave Herd steeds.
( Oki )
(gtg read)
Magicpetal rolled her eyes then began to squirm, but stayed put.
Breezebell's eyes widened and then she laughed. "ohh! Well then, okie dokie," She said, looking back at the Cave Herd steeds.
Honeyfall:
"I'm just giving you a hard time."
Breezebell turned. "idk! Just let me have some dreams! Jeez!" She said.
Honeyfall:
"With only a day of training?"
Breezebell nodded. "Do you think we will go on our first mission or something?!" She exclaimed excitedly.
Magicpetal: "I don't know...we'll find out soon enough..."
Breezebell sighed and looked at Magicpetal. "What do you think they decided? I would love to interigate these Cave Herd steeds..." She said, scanning the 20 steeds again.
Mistcloud:
"I gave the order, then as soon as I did, my order was contradicted." said Mistcloud
Starsummer cocked her head slightly. "What do you mean 'what happened after that'? The yearlings formed ranks as you asked."
Mistcloud:
Once Embermoon was out of earshot, Mistcloud turned to the council. "Today I gave to order to form ranks, what happened after that?"
Breezebell nodded to Magicpetal and then looked at Honeyfall. "Well, I'm not Mistcloud," She growled defensively.
Magicpetal: "I'm not sure." she flicked her ears toward the council "They look to be about done. Besides, Embermoon took her place with Sparrowfire, so they must be coming to a close."
Honeyfall:
The mare over heard Breezebell, "You think this is hard?" she said, "Mistcloud used to have us stand like this for hours. She said it help us improve out discipline."
Redmoon pranced, wanting to come out of position. She groaned and let her head fall.
Breezebell sighed and looekd at Magicpetal. "When do you think we can come out of positions? It's REALLY boring here..." She mumbled.
(Ehhh..true....If I did change she name I was thinking Mintwhisper)
Mistcloud:
Once Embermoon was out of earshot, Mistcloud turned to the council. "Today I gave to order to form ranks, what happened after that?"
( Yeah XD )
(I think she looks great, and her coat/wing colors go perfectly with her name)
( Aww don't change Mintcreek! But do whatever you want )
(I'm thinking about changing Mintcreek's name...it's just kinda original. Same with her coat color, I feel like bays are so common)
Embermoon nodded. She kept her anger inside and trotted away. She stood beside Sparrowfire and monitored the positions.
Mistcloud:
"Embermoon, you may leave now." said Mistcloud, a little frustrated by the mare's presence. "But I need the wrest of you to stay here, there is potential issue that I need to address."
Mistcloud:
"No, I instructed Sparrowfire to let them relax, but I would like them to stay where they are until the Cave Herd pegasi are out of sight."
Embermoon sighed. "Aye," She said, prancing, hoping that they would be dismissed now.
Embermoon nodded. "Then will we tell the steeds that they can stand down? They all seem to be very antsy in their positions......" She said, looking at all the yearlings.
Mistcloud:
"So you better get ready to leave."
Mistcloud:
"They will leave as soon as they are rested."

(hehe......oops.... XD. BTW, Dragon, I was updating Mintcreek's description when I saw that you need to update Silverflame's character. It still says that he's 0)
(I woke up and I had a full notification thing, and every single one with an exception of three of them were you two and my RPs)
(Lol, trust me I know)
Mistcloud:
"They need to stay here and train." said Mistcloud, "They have only had one day of training, I would like more experienced fighters to go."
(I really am sorry! Me and Nightmist went overboard....a lot)
Embermoon narrowed her eyes, pinned her ears, but said nothing further. "It would be good for the yearlings to go on a first mission..." She mumbled.
Starsummer: nodded "If agreed, say Aye. Aye."
Maplewing: "Aye."
Crystalcloud gave in and said. "Aye"
(It's fine... I guess)
Mistcloud:
She stamped her hoof on the ground, "I say we send just a small team to escort the Cave Herd pegasi to the border." she said, "Not enough to weaken our army if Flame Herd were to attack, but enough to ensure the Cave Herd leaves our territory.
