"Greywood.... Greywood...... get up....." he felt small jabs at his side. He craned his neck for a better angle. It was Starsun, poking him. "Starsun, I am sleeping." he said drowsily. It had been almost 5 days since Greythorn had died. Greywood had learned to accept it..... barely. Some nights he had terrible nightmares. Sweetroot had given him roots to calm his nerves. And it worked. He also had Starsun, which was the best medicine he could ask for, but he never admitted it to her. "GREYWOOD!!!!!" neighed Starsun and rammed him in the back. He grunted, "Okay, i am up." he rose to his hooves only to ffind a mud ball hurling at his face. He tried to duck, too late. The mud splattered across his blaze. "You wanna peice of me?!!" he said playfully, wiping off the mud. He grabbed mud and hurled it right back at Starsun. They played until they got hot and hungry. They grazed side-by-side, chattering quietly. Pegasi often flew by and waved their wings at the two. One of them was one of his good friends, Blossomflight. "Hi Greywood!!!" and she flew by. He waved wing at her as she flew by. Starsun's head suddenly shot up. "Riverbreeze!!!!!!!!" she neighed excitedly. Who was this "Riverbreeze" he thought in his head. Starsun trotted forward to greet a flilly, who was the same age as the two of them. Riverbreeze nickered, "Hi Starsun!!!" Greywood lifted his head to look at this new filly. The filly looked at him and they locked eyes. She was a dapple filly with lavender wings, tipped in sky blue. "Hey..." he said. "Hi..." she answered. They both took a step closer, before he knew it, he could feel her warmth. Starsun nickered. Greywood said, "What's your name?.... Wait no! I am an idiot!! I know your name.... i mean i am not a stalker!!! Do you know my name? Wait, were are my manners i am Greybreeze... i mean Breezewood... i mean.... Greywood!!!! My name is Greywood!!!" he said stupidly. Riverbreeze nickered, "Your funny!". Starsun crept up behind them and shouted, "BOOO!!!!!" They jumped out of their hooves and Starsun was on her back laughing. They all burst out laughing and continued to play throughout the day.
