I just thought: What if Brackentail feeling guilty for what he did wasn’t the only reason he apologized to Star? Could it also be that he noticed he’d be more effective in stealing Morningleaf from Star if he didn’t bully him anymore, or is that not true? I’m not totally sure which one it is but I think Brackentail trying to steal Morningleaf from Star is a little more likely, considering how much he crushes on her. I’m open to other opinions though!😆
I think he tried to steal Morningleaf in Starfire and mayyyybeee early Stormbound, but during the rest of the series I think his intentions were sincere.
