Then, when her filly is born, Brightmist decides to gives her status as lead mare to her daughter when she becomes weaned. Then, a handsome stallion with the name Spottedleaf joins they're family when Jadecloud, the new lead mare, falls in love with him. This is Brightmist's story, in her own words.
hey! just a couple things:
a weanling is too young to be lead mare, it would be a bit more realistic if Brightmist gave up her status when her daughter is two years old instead (according to the books, two years old is the official new adult age)
Spottedleaf is the name of the Warrior cats medicine cat character, some fans might point this out again and again
