Wingsong trotted towards her brother and cousin, Icebreeze and Icewood, with her heart pumping in excitement. She had just received news that 2 foals, a colt and filly, have been found and rescued by her uncle Seafire. Wingsong broke into a canter and once she went over the top of a hill, she quickly spotted her brother and cousin. Next to her brother was his best friend, Moonblaze. Icebreeze heard her hoofbeats and looked up at her. Wingsong nickered and stopped in front of the group. ”Seafire has just brought a colt and filly in from the woods! He says they’re run-aways.” Icewood, her cousin, perked his ears. ”Father found twin foals?” Wingsong nodded. “They are with Skycloud.” Moonblaze snorted. ”What herd are they from?” Wingsong lowered her head a bit in shame. She knew Moonblaze wasnt very fond of her. ”We dont know yet, but father thinks Desert Herd.” Moonblaze shook his head and snorted again. ”Like that’ll go over well with Redwing.” With that he jumped into the sky. Icebreeze watched his friend fly away and sighed. ”Aren’t you embarrassed to have a sister and cousin who’s a horse?” Wingsong asked casually to her brother and cousin. Icewood shook his head. ”You’re not a horse.” Wingsong cocked her head to the side a bit to show she was confused. ”Wingsong stop saying your a horse. Ashblaze was born like this too, and he grew wings later on in his life.” Wingsong rolled her eyes. “Those are just legends.” Icebreeze narrowed his eyes. ”If he’s a legend, then you will be an amazing one too.”
