Elmglade gaped at him. Dead? What did he mean Dead? "How?" Darkray asked. Sandwing looked appalled. "We don't know. He told us he had to leave. Next thing we knew Spiderstone wasn't back for days. I organized a search party and one of them came back with his body dangling between their teeth." The stallion answered, biting back a waterfall of tears. "The last seconds of his death, he was mumbling a prophecy..."
Elmglade looked up at him. "And what was the prophecy?" Sandwing took a breath answering slowly. "When the last sunset takes place, a group of pegasi will form. Some from different Anoks, some from the same Anok. These pegasi will all be sucked in a single Anok, then be drawn to the heart. When these pegasi gather, brought by fate, they will find their destiny, find there place, from the help of understanding. How would they do this, is what they possess. Find these pegasi, bring them together." Elmglade heard Ashleaf gasp. He doubted she even knew what it meant. But it sure did sound weird. What did that mean? "Thank you sir." He bowed his head. "We'll be off now." "Wait." Sandwing called. Elmglade turned his head. "Stay. Eat and drink. You're just weanlings after all. Plus, you can tell me why you wanted to see Spiderstone."
Elmglade gulped back his fear.
