Rainfeather trembled. "WHY DID YOU TRY TO ESCAPE!?" Elmwing brayed. Rainfeather perked her ears, but then understood how this looked like. Shadetree went to her knees. "I was looking for my daughter sir-" Elmwing cut her off with a breath of silver fire even Rainfeather didn't see coming. "Mother!" She galloped toward her dam as fast as her legs could take her. It was too late. In seconds Ashstone came from the jetstreams but Elmwing turned him to ash before he could land. "What are you doing!?" Elmwing looked at her. "I gave your father and mother a chance to join my herd and live. And this is what they give me." He pointed to her. Tears welled in Rainfeathers eyes. It was over. She gaped at the over-stallion and spoke from her heart. "Why would you- how could you. Don't you see your the bad guy here? You chased away the black foals, conquered there heard, killed my parents, and- and you don't even CARE!" Elmwing blinked at her like he remembered something. Rainfeather held her stare. Elmwing sucked in his breath. "Head back to your herd, choose a catagory to be in to keep yourself out of trouble, and don't cause a scene. Leave." Rainfeather looked at him unsure, then continued on her path, it all happened so quick. So sudden.
