Hi! Can you please tell me in the comments how you feel I am doing, and what you think is going to happen next? I would like to now what you think. Any comments are helpful.
Lakeroot turned and stared. “Riversun?” She gawked.
Morningmist smiled. “Over here Riversun!” Riversun and her party banked and landed next to Morningmist and Lakeroot. The two friends nuzzled each other.
“How did you escape Pebblewind?” Morningmist neighed. Pebblewind stepped forward, causing Morningmist to gasp in surprise.
“I didn’t escape him exactly...” Riversun whinnied. “I healed them!” Morningmist smiled.
“I knew you were the healer!” Riversun glowed with pride. Lakeroot felt very awkward as she watched the friends reunite. She began to nervously shed feathers.
“Well... I’d better be going...” Lakeroot whispered, and turned to flee.
Riversun reared and blocked her way. “You are going nowhere until you show us where Starfrost is!” Lakeroot glanced at all of Riversun’s soldiers and nodded enthusiastically.
“I will show you. Follow me.” Lakeroot’s terror was visible as the mare made sure to stay a good distance away from Riversun. The others followed her.
Starfrost woke up. He was in cave surrounded with guards. He scanned the cave, and his gaze settled on one manipulative pinto.
“Spiderhoof...” he growled. Sassily, she trotted over to him.
“How does it feel to be completely and utterly fooled?” She neighed with a hint of menace. Starfrost stayed silent. She kicked him in the ribs.
“I said, how does it feel?” She snarled and kicked him again.
“I think that is enough.” Whinnied a stallion who stepped out of the shadows. Starfrost felt his heart rise to his throat.
“Icefeather.” Spiderhoof gasped, and stepped to the side. Icefeather walked up to her.
“Riversun has been spotted with the steeds who betrayed my army. We have to prepare to fight with them. Starfrost is our only bargaining chip. They want him alive.” He snarled. Spiderhoof nodded.
Morningmist felt herself sinking from exhaustion, but carried on. Even though she tried to hide it, it was clear that Riversun was noticing.
“Are you okay? You look tired.” Riversun softly nickered. Morningmist shook her head.
“We were tricked into eating poisonous berries.” She muttered, hopping Riversun wouldn’t hear.
“What?!?” Riversun exploded and turned on Lakeroot. “She was forced to eat poisonous berries?!?” Lakeroot nodded, fear showing in her eyes.
Riversun lashed out and kicked Lakeroot. Lakeroot staggered, but kept on walking.
“Let me heal you.” She nickered, turning to Morningmist. Morningmist let herself be enveloped in her friend’s healing rays.
They arrived at the cave where Starfrost was being held. A dozen guards stood in the enterence, along with Icefeather, and was that Starfrost?
Horrified, Morningmist looked at Starfrost. It was clear that they had been hurting him. His wings were torn and bleeding, several gashed crisscrossed his side, and the tip of one ear was torn.
Riversun looked equally horrified, and opened her mouth preparing to use the starfire.
“Wait!” Icefeather commanded. “If you use starfire on us, we will kill Starfrost. The only way for him to be saved is for you to give us Morningmist.”
