So, with this story, I drew a picture of Stormsun and Riverblaze being guarded by the grey stallion (Seastone) and Thornfrost. I did the shading with my pencil and there colors. (Sorry it's so dark)

Chapter 5

Riverblaze woke up when she heard neighing.

“We do not make friends with our prisoners!” Stormtail yelled.

Thornfrost slunk like a cat and glanced at Riverblaze. His eyes were wide, and his breathing was heavy. If Riverblaze looked closely, she could see a bloody gash bellow his neck.

Riverblaze reared, understanding what had happened. Stormtail had seen Thornfrost sleeping with them, and understood he was treating them kindly.

Stormsun was up now, and Riverblaze whispered to her what happened.

Stormsun huffed and glanced at Thornfrost. He was shaking violently, and was shedding feathers everywhere, while Stormtail eyed him warily.

Finally, Stormtail looked up. “We are leaving!” he neighed. “Grab their wings,” he pointed at the fillies. Two stallions grabbed Riverblaze by her wings, and the same was for Stormsun.

A day passed and they were still flying. Stormtail had allowed the fillies to fly on their own, but the stallions formed a circle around them so they could not get away.

“How did they capture you?” Stormsun asked Riverblaze, breaking the silence.

Riverblaze sighed and explained the story.

There was a long pause. “Your not a weanling yet? Wow,” Stormsun said.

Riverblaze nodded. “I’m not supposed to be grazing yet, or flying as high as the clouds, but look at me now.” She tried to nicker, but only succeeded on frowning.

Riverblaze looked at Stormsun. “How were you captured?”

Stormsun gasped and her eyes turned glassy. “They attacked at night, they killed my father,” Stormsun looked up, tears running down her cheeks, “After, they knocked my mother out and broke her wings and two of her legs.” Stormsun looked at Riverblaze, and she saw the horror of the fight reflecting in her eyes. “I had a newborn sister, and they left her because a stallion broke her wing. My sister lost her ability to fly, to touch the clouds, forever. Stormtail had screamed at me when I tried to hug my sister, telling me I’d never see her again. Then, he knocked me out, and they carried me off.” Stormsun was sobbing now, and Riverblaze cried with her.

“I can’t believe Stormtail is so cruel.”
