“M-Master Opaila,” Sonesta was stunned.
“Hello, Master Sonesta.”
“Were you assigned this mission?”
“No. I am here because the force told me to be here.”
Kevty was stunned, Master Opaila had asked her to become her padawan. “I’m sure you don’t mean me, Master Opaila.”
“Yes you, Kevty Stargazer.”
“I need to think about it, ok?”
“Of course, Kevty. Just tell me when you’ve decided, the choice is yours and yours alone.”
Kevty nodded and went on board the ship, followed by the other padawans.
“Wow! Look at this ship!” Elilan exclaimed, running a hand over the smooth inside of the ship.
“Sit down padawans,” Sonesta called as she took her place at the pilot’s seat.
Elilan sat down and the other padawans followed suit.
Opaila walked around the ship, making sure that everything was in order.
“Master Opaila,” Kevty said.
“I will become your padawan if you’ll let me.”
Opaila nodded and smiled, “You padawans should go get some sleep while you can. We don’t know what we’ll face when we arrive.”
Kevty nodded and went to her bunk.
A mandalorian stood next to her. “Kevty. Come home.”
Kevty jumped, “Who are you?”
“Who is who?” Elilan asked, walking up next to her.
“Th-the mandalorian over there,” she pointed.
“There isn’t anyone there.”
The mandalorian looked at Kevty and shook his head, “Come back to our people, Kevty.”
Kevty’s eyes widened. “Elilan don’t you see him?!”
“Get some rest, Kevty. You’re just seeing things, there isn’t anyone there,” he was growing irritated.
She looked back at where she had seen the mandalorian, he wasn’t there anymore. “I guess I was just seeing things. Sorry.”
Elilan nodded. “Whatever.”
Kevty lay down and fell asleep.
(In dream/the past)
“KEVTY!” A mandalorian shouted, running toward her. “Run! Before the Jedi come!”
Young Kevty took off running.
“Get to the safe house!”
Suddenly someone picked Kevty up, “It’s alright, youngling. I’m a Jedi. I’m here to train you as a Jedi.”
Kevty looked up and saw someone familiar.
Kevty woke up, trying to remember who that person had been. She gasped. The person that had taken her from her family and home planet to train her as a Jedi had been none other than Ezra Bridger.
(Sorry it's so short! I just wanted to get the next chapter out!)
