Moondancer awaoke slowly and lifted her head. She was on the side of a shore and three pegasi were looming over her. One was a Palomino fill iwth a face marking, a front sock, and blue wings. One of the colts was a chestnut with flaxen mane and tail with a thin blaze, two left socks, and pale rose pink wings. The second colt was a buckskin with a jagged stripe in the shape of a lightning bolt and had yellow feathers. She opened her eyes wider and smiled. "Iceleaf! Riverflower! Stormblaze!" She said before standing warily and shaking the water out of her mane.

Riverflower smiled.

"We found you drifting in the river and pulled you out," She said glaring at the boys. 'They insisted that I stay on shore," She murmured and pranced a few feet away. Stormblaze rolled her eyes and perked his ears.

"You alright?" He asked.

"Yeah," She replied.

"Phew," Iceleaf sighed and smield at her. "Glad to see your okay. Question, how'd you get in the river in the first place?" He asked. Moondancer bit her lip. "I tripped and fell in and I got stuck in some mud under the water," She lied. She couldn't tell them the truth so they didn't worry about her. Riverflower peered at her and then twisted her ears and opened her wings. "We should probably head home," Riverflower snorted before flapping with her wings and taking off. Stormblaze followed, legs tucked, wing tips curved, and Iceleaf followed closely after. Moondancer followed last and sighed at the wind in her mane. She swished her tail and watched the ground zoom by below. She smiled and surged ahead. She did a loopty-loop and passed Iceleaf.

"hey!" He called chasing after her. Moondancer nickered and passed Stormblaze who growled and accpeted the challenge. Riverflower, however, saw Moondancer coming and flapped her giant wings forward and pinned her ears. The two fillies were neck and neck when Moondancer passed Riverflower and whinnied in delight. The 4 headed home nickering and playing. Moondancer landed first and held her head high.

"I win," She snorted and tortted in place.

"No fair!" Stormblaze said landing after Riverlfower and Iceleaf landing last.

"Darnet.." Iceleaf muttered. Riverflower laughed at him and galloped forward. "Come on! We should be able to catch story time if we hurry!" Riverflower whinnied, her legs a blur. Moondancer galloepd after her and jumped over a fallen log. Stormblaze and Iceleaf were neck and neck and slowed down when they made it. There was a group of weanling there but Moondancer, Iceleaf, Riverflower, and Stormblaze were yearlings, they still liked story time. The story teller pegasus quieted the steeds down and smiled.
