Btw when you are drawing the human shape, she will look like she is not wearing anything. If that makes anyone uncomfortable, just add a few lines and she will no longer look that way.

Step 1 is this shape. This will be your characters chest so make room for the rest of her.

Step 2 this circle is your characters stomach/ tummy/ whatever you wish to call it. Males this circle as big or small as you want her waist to be

Step 3 these two lines are your characters hips. Once again changing the shap of these(width) will change the final shape of your character

Step 4 for this step you work of the hip lines you made before and make what looks like to me, a bikini line.

Step5 two oval shapes. These are your characters thighs.if you are making a teen you will wamt to make sure that the oval goes slightly past the hips.

Step 6, two small circles are where her knees go.

Step 7? Two more ovals are the whatever the word is...ok. you want them to be almost the same length as the thighs. Just make sure they are at least a bit thinner (unless you don't want to)

Step 8 (ignore the lines coming out of the minny circle for now) draw two small circles for the ankle joint.

Step9? You make two lines (look at the left foot) then you make a small bump or hill shap for the toes. You now have feet!

Your character should now look something like this. If not that is fine.

Step 10, make two squashed ovals. These are the shoulder joints. You can also make two circles, but i find that ovals work netter for the famales and circles better for the males.

Step 11, mark out you characters waist. This will normally land right around the middle of the circle you drew earlier.

Step 12, two small circles that line up with the waist. These will be your elbows. You may want to put them slightly lower, but don't put them above.

Step 13? A thin oval to connect the shoulder and elbow joints.

Ignore this for now. I couldn't get it out...

Step 14, two more ovals that are about the smae size as the first two just slightly thiner.

Step 15, two small circles for the wrists

Step 16, the hand...follow the picture? Repeat on other side.

This is what we should have so far.

Step 17, make a line across connecting the two shoulders. Then make two slightly curved lines. These tw. lines are going to be the neck. If you are having trouble fonding the middle of your characters chest. Draw a line to help you find the middle.

Step18, make two flat S lines to connect the neck and shoulders. This also adds the look that there is muscle and bone there.

Step 19, i always use this general shape when starting my heads. I then go back and change it later. This is the chin.

Step 20, make the jaw and the side of the head. This shap looks somwhat like a flattened out J.

Step 21, finish the top of the head and make it bigger then you think it should be. Your chataracter should look somthing like this now.

Step 22, make a line across her chest. If you are uncomfortable with the upper female body, skip this step and the next, but a teen and adult femal won't usally look right without these steps.

Step 23, make two tear drop, circle, or oval shapes. It depends on the look you are going for. They do not have to match completly so don't worry too much about that.

Step 24, you have finished what i like to call the skeleton. You now want to darken the important lines. Make sure to not just follow the lines. This step is where you can change shapes and such. Make sure not to go right to the circles for the knees, ankles, or elbows. I will include the lining out process.

This is one side, now repeat step on the other.

Legs so far.

Step 25, connect the hip lines and the chest line. You can makes the waste however you want. The waist will change the general shape of you character.

The outlined arms. Look at the elbows. That is the trickyish part here.

Step 26?, the collar bone amd the muscles in her neck.

Step 27, The face. I always start with the placement of the nose. If you fond doind a different part of the face first is easier. Feel free to do theses next steps in whatever order you like.

Add the mouth beneath the nose and a t shape aroumd where you want the eyes. This makes it easier to get it straight.
Next up are the steps for the eyes.

Step 28?decide where you want your eyebrows and make a line. This will keep them from getting wonky.

Step 29 add eyebrows

Step 30. Add iris/circle in middle of eye and erase the line that was connecting the eyebrows.

Forgot this step... don't forget the ears. They are just simple shapes. ears used to scare me alot. It is somewhat of a flat C shape.

Step 31, change the nose(or leave it) to be how you want it. Add eyelids and the hair part.

Step 32, sketch out the general shape of your character's hair.

Step 33, erase the line that was your characters head that went through the hair. Add some strands of hair to show the general movement.

You should now be left with a female body! You can change whatever you want. Just have fun. I hope someone learned something from this. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I have not gone through it due to its size, so if somthing doesn't make sense, ask.
I will prob try this, THANKS!
Nice!! I might try it!! I suck at hands, lol, so I usually put them behind the persons back XD
This is really cool I have been trying to draw humans for along time!
NICE!!!!! I'll have to try this sometime!
I finished!
I need to work on body proportions but I think other than that it looks ok
Thanks so much this is so helpful!
