Primrose's hooves slammed into the snow with a force that promised violence. Her sisters landed not even 2 seconds later, snow spraying in their wake. Primrose arched her neck, her unseeing eyes seeming to scan the area- though it was her ears that she gained the most information. They had been her eyes since she was born, and they hadn't failed her once.

The three mares pranced forward, their wings flaring slightly. They had one job- strike Snow Herd while they were weak- courtesy of yet another plague that had diminished their numbers greatly and nearly took out their overstallion- as a message as to what would come if they invaded their lands again.

Kill their colts, take their fillies.

Thornrose and Bloodrose bared their teeth in an almost feral grin as 3 other large Mountain Herd Steeds landed behind them. It was time to stain the snow red.

For context;

Timberwing issued the threat of war should Bloodrose (perviously Darksky) not be returned to them. Cliffwing refused so Timberwing sent his healthiest steeds to Mountain Herd to take her back with force. Bloodrose, with the help of her new sisters, had defeated the steeds- killing 2 and sending the remaining 3 back to Snow Herd with injuries they wouldn't ever heal from fully.

Cliffherd ordered the 3 along with 3 other steeds to invade Snow Herd to take their fillies and kill their colts.
